Manchester City
Manchester City enters a new era following Pep Guardiola's departure after 10 years in charge. Former assistant Enzo Maresca takes over a talented squad that still features Erling Haaland, who enjoyed another outstanding summer by leading Norway to the World Cup semifinals.
Rayan Cherki continues to develop into one of the league's brightest young stars, while Nico O'Reilly also looks set for another big campaign after impressing with England at the World Cup. City also strengthened the midfield by signing Elliott Anderson from Nottingham Forest. After finishing seven points behind Arsenal last season, the Sky Blues have the talent to immediately challenge for the title again.
Liverpool
Liverpool also begins a new chapter after Arne Slot's departure. Former Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola arrives at Anfield looking to keep the Reds among England's elite.
Mohamed Salah's exit leaves a significant hole in attack, placing greater responsibility on Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike, and Dominik Szoboszlai. Liverpool has also been linked with PSG winger Bradley Barcola, whose arrival would provide another major boost.
