BetVictor sponsors pool championship

BetVictor will be the title sponsor for this year’s UK Open Pool Championship that is scheduled for May 7-12 in England, announced by the World NineBall Tour. BetVictor has partnered with leagues like the Canadian Elite Basketball League and continues to add to its list of partners and sponsorships. Matchroom Multi Sports CEO Emily Frazer commented on the sponsorship and Matchroom’s relationship with BetVictor. “We are thrilled to welcome BetVictor as the title sponsor of the highly anticipated 2024 UK Open Pool Championship. We have a great relationship with BetVictor across the Matchroom Sport group and we couldn’t be more delighted to see them extend their support into the world of pool,” Frazer said.

BetVictor offers snooker, darts, and many more sports on their sportsbook. The 2024 UK Open Pool Championship is a World Nineball Tour ranking event that is operated by Matchroom Sports. The championship will feature 256 players with 128 of the top World Nineball Tour professional players. “The UK Open is one of the stand-out tournaments in the nine-ball calendar, featuring a grand field size of 256 competitive players from across the globe. Eklent Kaçi, the defending champion, is looking to continue his winning streak this year, but with so many victory-hungry cueists playing, anyone can be crowned UK Open champion. All we know is we’re set for a spectacular tournament,” Frazer said.

The partnership between Matchroom and BetVictor

BetVictor has sponsored Matchroom events and sports in the past and plans to continue this partnership moving forward. The £150,000 BetVictor Bonus is a key feature of the sponsorship. For the 2024-2025 season, BetVictor will sponsor the World Snooker Tour’s Home Nations Series that features the English Open, Northern Ireland Open, Scottish Open, and Welsh Open. The leading prize winner from those tournaments will receive the £150,000 BetVictor Bonus.

BetVictor will also sponsor the 2024 World Cup of Darts, a competition with 40 nations competing. Darts is one of the sports available on the BetVictor sportsbook. BetVictor head of sponsorship Sam Bowell commented on the deals. “We are delighted to continue our long-standing sponsorship of snooker with the BetVictor Home Nations tournaments and of course the BetVictor £150,000 bonus race, which has been incredibly popular with players since its creation in 2020.

“As well as snooker, we make a return to the World Cup of Darts which is always a vibrant and unique event and we are also proud to be entering into Pool with our sponsorship of the UK Open. All three sports are ones our customers love to engage with, both by participating in and watching across the globe, and with our recently released Lucky Dip product, customers will be able to enjoy an innovative new way to bet on these events and much more!”
