ESPN and ABC have to be ecstatic with their Week 5 offering: Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills heading out West to take on Matthew Stafford and the Super Bowl-favourite Los Angeles Rams to wrap up this season’s fifth week on Monday Night Football. This could easily be a Super Bowl preview.

And even if it’s not and these teams fall short as they did last year, it’s still hard to picture a scenario where this matchup doesn’t produce a barnburner. There are going to be points, there are going to be big plays, and there is going to be drama.

But who will be the main characters in this drama? We scoured the player prop market and came up with our three best bets for the game. Read on for our picks as well as the latest NFL betting odds for the matchup!

Highlights

  • Kyren Williams has scored in 3 of 4 games this season
  • Josh Allen has scored in every contest for the Bills so far in 2026
  • Matthew Stafford has thrown for 300+ yards in 3 straight games

NFL Week 5 Monday Night Football: Bills vs. Rams Player Prop Best Bets and Betting Odds

All betting odds provided by Betway.

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams - Anytime TD Scorer (-170)

Kyren Williams has been one of the best backs in football through four weeks. Not only does he rack up the yardage both on the ground and through the air, but he has continued to show that he has a real nose for the end zone. He’s already got four TDs this year; three on the ground, and one touchdown catch.

Williams has scored in three of four games this year, and he figures to get a lot of opportunities again this week in primetime against the Bills. Buffalo is a Super Bowl contender, no doubt. But they’re also in contention for the worst defence in the NFL.

They’re giving up nearly 27 points per game, eighth-most in the NFL. They’ve also given up six TDs to running backs this year, which is tied for fifth-most in the league. We were expecting Williams’ touchdown line to be well over -200, but since it’s well under, we’re jumping all over it.

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills - Anytime TD Scorer (-120)

The Rams have a much better defence than the Bills, but that doesn’t mean teams can’t move the ball on them. And Josh Allen can pretty much move the ball on anyone. He will do so against the Rams as well, even if it is in Los Angeles.

Allen has been very active near the goal line this year. Even more than in years past. Which is saying a lot. He’s got six carries from inside the five-yard-line this year, tied for fifth-most in the NFL. All six of those carries resulted in touchdowns, which gives him the most touchdowns from inside the five in the NFL. He has scored in every single game this year, and we’re counting on that trend to continue.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams - 275+ Pass Yards (-140)

As we said in the Kyren Williams section, the Bills have an awful defence. They’re giving up nearly 27 points a game and they’re allowing just over 372 yards per game. The 24.0 first downs they’re ceding is the second-most in the NFL, and the 256.3 passing yards per game they’re giving up are sixth-most in the league.

Matthew Stafford, meanwhile, has been rolling in that last respect. The Rams have been a bit topsy-turvy overall this year, but one consistent thing since they returned from Australia is that Stafford has been slingin’ it. He has thrown for 327, 390, and 317 yards in his last three. If we were really cheeky we’d go for Stafford to throw for 300+ at +125, but we’re not going to get crazy here.
