Game Pick
Aside from Western Pennsylvania and Northern Ohio, there probably weren’t many that expected this Week 4 prime time game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns to be a battle of 2-1 teams tied for first place in the AFC North. But that’s exactly what it is.
Cleveland comes in on an impressive two-game winning streak that followed a really pitiful Week 1 blowout loss. But they seem to have put that behind them, and unfortunately, Deshaun Watson is actually playing some good football. But is it good enough?
The Browns aren’t the scary defence they’ve been over the last few years. They’ve given up 310+ yards in each of their three games. Pittsburgh’s defence hasn’t been elite either, but they’ve gotten back to their roots with six turnovers and a lot of QB pressure.
Pittsburgh is top 10 with eight sacks on the season, while Watson has been sacked nine times, fourth-most in the NFL. Cleveland is allowing pressure at about a 25 percent rate, which is also bottom 10. Pair that with a bottom 10 rush defence for the Browns that could get plowed by a rejuvenated Steelers rushing attack led by Jaylen Warren, and you’ve got a recipe for success for the Steely guys.
The Browns have done well against Pittsburgh in recent years, winning six of the last seven at home. However, here, they come up against two short week specialists in Aaron Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy. Rodgers is 13-6 straight up on Thursdays and McCarthy went 7-3 while he was with the Cowboys from 2020-2024.
Best Bet: Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline (-150)

Rico Dowdle didn’t practice on Monday or Tuesday, and when you’re playing on a short week, that generally means you’re not going to be ready to go for Thursday. That means another game with the backfield to himself for Jaylen Warren; he had a massive effort with 127 rush yards last week.
And we think this Browns defence, which is allowing over 120 rush yards a game and 4.5 yards a carry, both 10th-worst in football, is susceptible. Warren had great blocking last week, and we think that could be a sign of things to come.
We know Warren is always going to fight for those nitty gritty extra yards. Cleveland also hasn’t allowed a rushing TD yet this year which, to us, means they’re due to give one up. Warren is the prime candidate.
Player Prop Best Bets
- Jaylen Warren 70+ Rush Yards (-125)
- Jaylen Warren Anytime TD Scorer (-105)
