Brentford vs Liverpool Odds

Soccer betting sites have priced the Bees as a slim +135 favorite. Liverpool, meanwhile, sits at +175 odds, and a draw is priced at +265. The O/U is set at three goals, with negative odds on both sides.

The Reds have won five of the last seven meetings, but Brentford were unbeaten against them last term, winning at home and drawing the reverse fixture at Anfield.

Brentford vs Liverpool Analysis

The Bees are off to a wonderful start to the 2026-27 campaign, sitting as one of just three teams who have yet to taste defeat. Brentford have a 2-4-0 record, scoring 12 goals in six matches while conceding just six. They’ve been a fundamentally sound team on both ends of the pitch, and Keith Andrews’ side even smashed Chelsea 3-0 before the international break, their most impressive win so far.

The London outfit also produced another solid performance last weekend in a hard-fought draw with Aston Villa. Yehor Yarmoliuk and Kristoffer Ajer produced the goods for the visitors, with the latter equalizing late in the second half to help the Bees rescue a point. Both of Brentford’s victories this term have been at home, which is certainly a positive sign ahead of Liverpool’s visit to Gtech Community Stadium.

The Merseysiders have struggled to find consistency under new boss Andoni Iraola. They’ve yet to win back-to-back games in the Premier League, and were without a victory through the first two matches of the campaign. But Liverpool is still reaching distance of the top four, sitting just one point back of Brentford, who are in fourth place.

After a humiliating defeat to rivals Man City last Sunday, Iraola’s group responded with authority mid-week in the Champions League, putting six past LASK. Summer signing Bradley Barcola was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick. With Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo still injured, Barcola’s brilliance in front of goal will be needed again on Saturday.

Brentford vs Liverpool Injury News

Brentford have several fitness concerns heading into Saturday, with Kevin Schade (shoulder) and Jannik Schuster (ankle) doubtful after picking up injuries against Aston Villa. Mikkel Damsgaard and Nathan Collins are also facing fitness tests, while Antoni Milambo and Josh Dasilva remain sidelined.

Liverpool could be without several key players, with Isak (thigh), Gakpo (ankle), and Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring) all doubtful. Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley, and Giovanni Leoni remain sidelined with long-term injuries, while Ryan Gravenberch is suspended following his red card against Manchester City.

Brentford vs Liverpool Picks

Brentford have been an incredibly difficult team to beat, especially on home soil. Liverpool have struggled to string together positive results, and with seven draws combined between these two clubs in the Premier League, another stalemate wouldn't surprise me. I'll back the draw at plus money.
