There are under 50 days until the 2026 NFL regular season begins, and that means it’s past time to start dabbling in some futures betting markets. Canadian sportsbooks usually have several numbers (ie: over/under 10.5 wins) for over/under win total futures for each team, with odds for them to go over or under each number.

Because of all those variables, we’re taking this slowly, one division at a time. Our 2026 edition of this series continues with the AFC West, which should field three playoff teams, if not coming close to it. Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes’ availability for the 2026 season was supposed to be a big question mark for the Chiefs and everyone that plays them. It seems that question has been answered with Mahomes officially cleared to participate fully in practice prior to training camp’s start on July 28.

K.C. went just 1-5 in the division last year, so we expect a big bounce back there. The division is still tough though, so we’ll give them four wins there. We’ll give them two wins against the NFC West, and three more against the AFC East. That gives them nine Ws. Thanks to that third-place schedule, they get the Colts, Falcons, and Bengals too. They could sweep that block of games, but we’ll give them two just to be safe.

Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs Over 10.5 Wins (+115)

Denver Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are in tough with the two teams ahead of them in the division, and after a 5-1 division run last year, we expect regression there to 3-3. They should be able to win half of their games against the AFC East and NFC West. Their three extra games against the Ravens, Bucs, and Texans will not be easy, however. They definitely won’t win all three, but they could get two. We expect a step back from this Chargers team in 2026.

Best Bet: Los Angeles Chargers Under 10.5 Wins (-160)

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders had the No. 1 pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, and they definitely could earn it again with their performance during the 2026 regular season. But we think they’re going to improve on their three-win total from last year.

Two division wins seems generous enough. They also have winnable games against the Cardinals, Browns, Jets, Dolphins, and Titans. If they win three from that group, that gives them five wins and a massive step forward from last year. However, we’re not getting great odds on any overs for the Raiders strangely enough, so we’ll take the under on 6.5 wins to play it safe.

Best Bet: Las Vegas Raiders Under 6.5 Wins (-150)

Broncos

Funny enough, the Broncos have a first-place schedule this season for the first time in ages, but they still have the easiest strength of schedule among AFC West teams (0.512). They bring back the same core as last year, and we think one more year of Bo Nix learning under Sean Payton will have positive results. Not to mention the Jaylen Waddle trade showed they mean business.

They’ll get four wins from the division too, and we’ll give them five more against the AFC East and NFC West as well. Games against the Panthers, Steelers, and Jaguars will all be tough, so we’ll play it safe and give them one more win there.

Best Bet: Denver Broncos Over 9.5 Wins (-115)
