In this conversation, Eli Hamo shares his journey from a sports enthusiast to a key player in the betting industry with TitanPlay. He discusses the importance of user experience, the balance between excitement and responsible gambling, and the potential of AI in enhancing betting platforms.

Hamo also highlights the unique cultural aspects of betting in different markets and outlines the marketing strategies that smaller brands can employ to compete with industry giants.

What pulled you into the betting world? What makes this exciting for you personally?

"My entire life was around that, I really wanted to do something with that... for me, the career in the industry is mainly because of my love for sports and everything around that."

What do players really value most when they're thinking about what platform to use for their bets?

"I think the main thing for a player is the confident that eventually that platform will give him everything... I want to give you the best possible experience."

You mentioned you guys are a small player and swimming with sharks. What kind of strategies do you employ in your marketing efforts?"

"I'm not bet365, I'm not betMGM... We are relatively a small brand in a very, very big market. We're swimming with some major sharks. But at the same time, we're trying to get our angle... I think that the market is big enough for all of us."

Do you prefer the smaller players? because I feel like the product (in smaller companies) is a lot of times better.

"As a smaller organization, as a smaller company, we definitely do that. We put our attention on all of the smaller details... when you get that big, something gets lost, that personal touch, that personal approach to the users."
