The Favourite: Jordyn Tyson, New Orleans Saints (+250)

Jordyn Tyson was the second wideout selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, going No. 8 overall to the New Orleans Saints. He’s a big-bodied 6’2”, 203-pound Z-style receiver that we expect to be in motion a lot in Kellen Moore’s offense.

All the talk from the coaching staff to starting QB Tyler Shough has been very positive, but there is one massive issue that makes his +250 odds seem far too short: he projects similarly to New Orleans’ bonafide No. 1 WR Chris Olave.

The last four guys to lead all rookies in receiving yards did not have a teammate with more than 750 yards. Ja’Marr Chase did so with Tee Higgins topping 1,000 yards in 2021, but no one’s looking at Tyson as a player of Chase’s caliber. We can find better value among the favourites.

Our Best Bet: Carnell Tate, Tennessee Titans (+300)

The first receiver taken off the board in April and the fourth overall pick, Carnell Tate was viewed as the consensus top wideout in the 2026 class after dazzling with nine touchdowns for Ohio State last season. He’s a great 50/50 ball catcher, he’s got 4.5 speed, he runs crisp routes, he has reliable hands, and while he’s not a great YAC guy, he can actually contribute as a blocker believe it or not.

There has been “nothing but praise” for Tate through the early parts of Tennessee’s offseason, and while some view Wan’Dale Robinson as a competitor for WR1 status, we don’t think even Robinson’s connection with head coach Brian Daboll will be able to convince Cam Ward to throw to him more than Tate.

Ward didn’t have anyone reliable last year, so we’re betting he’s going to feed Tate early and often once he realizes what he’s got in the former Buckeye. His +300 odds aren’t offering a ton of value, but this is the guy we like to go and do it.

Dark Horse Candidate: Denzel Boston, Cleveland Browns (+1,600)

In Cleveland, there are two rookie WRs competing with Jerry Jeudy for WR1 duties. There’s first round pick KC Concepcion, but we like the second-rounder Denzel Boston a lot more. His +1,600 odds make him a true long shot, but we think he could emerge as the favourite target of Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders rather quickly.

The Athletic’s Cleveland beat writer Zac Jackson believes either Boston or TE Harold Fannin will lead the team in receiving, and ESPN’s Browns beat writer said Boston has been one of the “standouts” of the Browns offseason so far.
