2026 NFC North Over/Under Win Totals - Betting Odds
Detroit Lions
The Lions didn’t have much going for them last year. Bad luck with injuries, turnovers, and special teams drowned them. Not to mention that tough schedule. But now, the luck should swing back their way. Other than the 49ers, we can’t think of any teams that have suffered injury woes in back-to-back seasons like the Lions did last year. And they have the third-easiest schedule in the NFC.
The only game they could lose before their Week 6 bye is a road matchup with the Bills. 4-1. Five of their next six games after the bye are at home, with the Dolphins the only road game. They should go 5-1 in those games. 9-2. They should beat the Falcons on the road and the Titans at home to go to 11-2 before a tough final stretch with three road division games could see them drop two or three. They’ll no doubt beat the Giants though, bringing them to 12 wins conservatively. They could easily go for 13 or 14 with this schedule.
Best Bet: Detroit Lions Over 11.5 Wins (+175)
Green Bay Packers
If they weren’t in a division with the Lions, we’d say the Packers have the most talent in the NFC North. They finished really poorly last season, but that had a lot to do with injuries to their two key players: Micah Parsons and Jordan Love. They should be ready to go for the 2026 campaign.
They might start 0-1 after a road loss to Minnesota in Week 1, but after that they should win four of their next five, with a possible loss coming at the Bucs or home to the Cowboys. A loss on the road to the Lions would bring them to 4-3, but they should win their next three headed to the Week 11 bye at 7-3. After the bye, they have a rough road. Apart from a Week 16 home matchup with Miami, the rest of their opponents are likely to be playoff teams or in the hunt (Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Rams, Chicago, Buffalo). We think a 3-4 record across that stretch is very conservative, giving them 10 wins for the campaign.
Best Bet: Green Bay Packers Over 9.5 Wins (-130)
Chicago Bears
The Bears were a great story last season, but we’re not sure it’s going to continue on a straight upward line here in 2026. They have the most difficult schedule in the NFL after all. Last year they went just 2-4 in the division, and we don’t think they’re going to be better this season.
They should be able to find wins against the Jets, Falcons, Patriots, Bucs, Saints, Dolphins, and Jaguars. But they won’t win all of those games. And we don’t think they will beat the Eagles, Seahawks, Bills, or Panthers. We’re leaning towards an under here for Chicago, so we’ll make it easy and go under 9.5 wins, though we think they could very well finish below .500.
Best Bet: Chicago Bears Under 9.5 Wins (-120)
Minnesota Vikings
This team could be one of the biggest surprises of the season based on where their odds are sitting. Kyler Murray is a capable if embattled quarterback, and Kevin O’Connell is the QB whisperer. Murray has arguably the best wideout in the league in Justin Jefferson and arguably the best play caller in O’Connell. And the diminutive speedster is overflowing with talent.
The offensive line is solid, the defense is solid, and the receiving corps is elite with Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings joining Jefferson. They should go 3-2 before a Week 6 bye. After that they should beat the Colts, but it a tough run at the Lions, vs. Buffalo, at Green Bay, and at San San Francisco could very well leave them at 4-6.
Easier matchups follow against the Falcons, Panthers, and Patriots, of which they should win at least two. They wrap up the season with two home division games, a home date with the Commanders, and a road matchup with the Jets. If they finish strong, they can definitely reach 10 wins, and we’re taking them to do it.
