After a whirlwind weekend of football in the Wild Card round, the NFL playoff field has now been cut down from 14 to 8. We have four games set for Divisional Round weekend—and they’re four absolute doozies. Bills-Broncos, 49ers-Seahawks, Texans-Patriots, and Rams-Bears.

Would it be insane if we took all four road teams? Read on for top NFL betting odds as well as our game picks for each matchup as we build our NFL Divisional Round six-points teaser parlay!

Highlights

  • Josh Allen is 11-3 against the AFC West, his best record against any NFL division

Buffalo Bills (+1.5) @ Denver Broncos - Saturday, January 17 (4:30PM) (CBS)

Last week, we took the Bills to beat the Jaguars for no reason other than Josh Allen. He plays for Buffalo, so we took Buffalo. Buffalo won. The Jags had a better team by probably every other metric you can think of, but Allen’s playoff experience and overall talent level and drive won out in the end.

We believe the same thing is going to happen in Denver against these young and untested Broncos. And with the tease pushing Buffalo’s spread to +7.5 on most betting sites, we feel even more confident. There’s also very little chance Josh Allen gets blown out: four of his six playoff losses have come in overtime or by three points. He’s also 11-3 against the AFC West, his best record against any single NFL division.

It’s also worth noting that the Broncos haven’t put together a good performance against quality opposition since their win over the Packers over a month ago. The forecast is calling for some Mile High rust here, people.

Teaser Pick: Bills (+7.5)

San Francisco 49ers (+7.0) @ Seattle Seahawks - Saturday, January 17 (8PM) (FOX)

The 49ers are about as injury-plagued as any team can possibly be while staying alive this late in the postseason. Whether it’s the power plant or Kyle Shanahan’s arduous practice regimen, who cares. They’re here with a no-name defense, and they’ve shown they can rise to the occasion. The Eagles offense is arguably a lot more talented than this Seahawks unit they will take on.

Starting QB Sam Darnold is also a huge question mark in these big spots. And he’s dealing with an oblique issue. He said he’s definitely playing, but OC Klint Kubiak also wouldn’t comment on his status. He also said that backup Drew Lock has been getting more reps this week. A cagey divisional rivalry in the Divisional Round? We have a hard time believing that could result in a blowout.

Teaser Pick: 49ers (+13.0)

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots (-3.0) - Sunday, January 18 (3PM) (ESPN)

The Texans’ defense looked like the Suicide Squad against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ sad excuse for an offense. That won’t happen again in Foxborough, where Drake Maye leads an offense that is capable when it comes to both throwing and running.

Their only issue is protecting the passer. That would spell big trouble for the Patriots if Maye wasn’t such a nimble and shrewd scrambler. He should be able to keep the offense productive and avoid the rush often enough to keep the ball moving.

On the other side, C.J. Stroud won’t have as poor a game as he did in the Wild Card game either. But with Nico Collins unlikely to play due to a concussion, we can’t imagine the Texans scoring enough on offense to beat this Pats team by more than a field goal.

Teaser Pick: Patriots (+3.0)

Los Angeles Rams (-3.5) @ Chicago Bears - Sunday, January 18 (6:30PM) (NBC)

Clearly, the NFL had the same idea the rest of us did: Bears vs. Rams is going to be the most fun game of the weekend. That’s why they put it in the marquee spot here on Sunday evening. And we do think it will live up to that billing. We foresee the Rams going up big, as Chicago relies on their NFL-high takeaway machine on defense. However, the Rams have turned it over just 15 times this year, tied for fourth-fewest in the league.

They won without a turnover last week against the Packers, but Sean McVay will have learned from Matt LaFleur’s mistakes while playing with the lead at Soldier Field. The Rams are simply too potent on offense for the Bears to hold them down long enough to complete one of their patented comebacks. The magic will run out, and this one will fall short.

Teaser Pick: Rams (+2.5)
