Week 2 of the NFL is on the horizon, and if it’s as exciting as Week 1, we’re in for another great weekend. To add even more juice to the action, we’ve put together a five-leg, six-point teaser parlay that should whet any bettor’s appetite.

For those unaware, a teaser is a bet where you combine several spread winners and buy the same amount of points down on each. For example, in our teaser we have the Buccaneers and Ravens, both of whom have -8.5 spreads, but with the teaser, they’re bought down to -2.5 spreads. Much more manageable. Read on for our picks and the latest NFL betting odds for our teaser!

Highlights

  • Baker Mayfield will be looking for revenge against the Browns, his former employer
  • Our teaser includes 5 favourites (4 at home), all bought down to under 3 points spreads
  • The parlay odds for our five-leg, six-point teaser are +500

  • Philadelphia Eagles (-7.0) @ TEN → -1.0
  • Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5) vs. LV → -0.5

Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8.5) - 1PM

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
Cleveland Browns+325+8.5 (-110)O41.5 (-110)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers-425-8.5 (-110)U41.5 (-110)

This was the first one we added to the teaser simply because of the narrative: Baker Mayfield holds grudges, and if he’s got one against any team, it’s the Cleveland Browns. His Bucs were thwarted in their comeback attempt last week, but they won’t need to work that hard in Week 2 at home against the hapless Browns. Getting this spread to under a field goal made it the perfect first leg of the tease.

Teaser Pick: Buccaneers (-2.5)

New Orleans Saints @ Baltimore Ravens (-8.5) - 1PM

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
New Orleans Saints+325+8.5 (-110)O46.5 (-105)
Baltimore Ravens-425-8.5 (-110)U46.5 (-115)

The spread was one of the reasons we liked the Ravens for the tease as well. An 8.5-point spread is basically begging to be teased down to 2.5. But it’s not like we really think the Ravens need it. They’re at home against a Saints team that gave up 31 points in Week 1. And Baltimore’s defence won’t allow Tyler Shough 30 points like the Lions did last week either.

Teaser Pick: Ravens (-2.5)

Philadelphia Eagles (-7.0) @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
Philadelphia Eagles-340-7.0 (-110)O39.5 (-110)
Tennessee Titans+270+7.0 (-110)U39.5 (-110)

The Eagles did not impress in Week 1, but the Titans were even more unimpressive. They were at home with a head coach that would’ve been looking to get revenge against another awful team in the Jets. But Tennessee got their butts kicked 23-10 in their own building. The Eagles should be able to match that at least.

Teaser Pick: Eagles (-1.0)

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5) - 4:05PM

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
Las Vegas Raiders+240+6.5 (-110)O43.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Chargers-300-6.5 (-110)U43.5 (-110)

The Chargers were shocked in Week 1 at home, but we think they’re going to jump out of their funk in Week 2 against the division-rival Raiders. Vegas won in Week 1 against the Dolphins, but that’s not exactly an impressive accomplishment. If the Chargers are going to be half-decent this year, they’re going to have to prove it right here, right now.

Teaser Pick: Chargers (-0.5)

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) - 8:20PM (SNF)

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
Indianapolis Colts+240+6.5 (-110)O46.5 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs-300-6.5 (-110)U46.5 (-110)

The Chiefs looked about as good as any team in Week 1, taking down the reigning AFC West division champion Denver Broncos 31-10. Patrick Mahomes looked healthy, the defence was flying around, and Kenneth Walker III looked like he could be the best free agent addition in the league this year. The Colts won’t recreate their magic from last year, and they looked brutal in a 41-23 loss in Week 1.

Teaser Pick: Chiefs (-0.5)
