Unfortunately, the marquee Mexican star that was supposed to headline this fight, Yair Rodriguez, had to step down due to injury. No. 6 Jean Silva vs. No. 15 Jose Delgado Featherweight Main Event Betting Odds

Jean Silva (17-3) is on his way back towards title contention at 145 pounds after his solid win over Arnold Allen in January. Subbing in against him for the injured Yair Rodriguez will be Jose Delgado (12-2), a 2025 UFC addition that has already fought five times for the promotion, going 4-1.

However, that 4-1 record is not really what it seems. Delgado has shown some impressive sparks, but he’s also had some rough moments even in his wins. Austin Bashi, more of a wrestler, even dropped him in his last fight, which Bashi easily could’ve won but went to Delgado as a unanimous decision.

That’s worrying, but the thing is Silva has been priced as a prohibitive favourite here, making it tough to justify any Silva bet with any kind of value right now. It’s in moments like these that we turn to total round betting.

This one is priced as an early finisher, but we think it will go longer than expected. Delgado’s last three fights have all gone to the scorecards as he starts taking on better quality opposition. Same goes for Silva, who has just one first round finish in his last six bouts after having eight in the nine fights before that.
