OKC Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers Game 4: NBA Game Picks & Betting Odds

Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal
The Oklahoma City Thunder are big-time favorites to not only win this series against the Los Angeles Lakers (duh), but also to win their second straight NBA championship. And for good reason. They have won all seven of their playoff games so far, and their best player, presumptive MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, hasn’t even been playing very well. Their depth has told the tale.
Now, they head into Game 4 on Monday night in L.A. up 3-0 in the series and looking to get their second straight sweep of these playoffs. But will the King allow it? Read on for the top NBA betting odds, our game predictions, and our favorite player props for Game 4 at Crypto.com Arena!

Thunder vs. Lakers Game 4 Betting Prediction
In the end, the Lakers got their butts kicked in Game 3. But they didn’t get dominated wire-to-wire. Believe it or not, they were actually leading this game at halftime. Then they were outscored by 25 in the second half. That means they can have their way with the Thunder at times. They just need to apply that level of play for a full game. A tall order against this Thunder team, but one we think they can fulfill in Game 4.
A big reason for that is one man: the King. LeBron James is 41 now, but he’s been averaging about 23 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds per game. He’s arguably been the Lakers’ best player. And he simply does not get swept very often.
He has played in 56 playoff series, and he has only been swept thrice: once in the 2007 NBA Finals against the dominant Spurs dynasty, once in 2018 against the juggernaut Kevin Durant Warriors, and once in 2023 against the eventual champion Nuggets. While we like the Lakers to avoid the sweep, the spread here is so massive we figured we might as well take advantage and play it safe at no extra cost.
Best Bet: Los Angeles Lakers +10.5 Point Spread (-110)
Thunder vs. Lakers Game 4 - Player Prop Best Bets
The thing that makes the Thunder so good is what also makes them a nightmare to bet on. They have so much depth that apart from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, it’s impossible to predict who will be the one to step up on any given night. And SGA hasn’t been exactly lighting it up lately either. They have had three different scoring leaders in the last four games. That’s why we prefer to go with a couple of Lakers player props here.
First off, Rui Hachimura has quietly been shooting extremely well. He’s shooting 58 percent from deep during these playoffs, and for the second straight year, he’s bumped his average of 1.7 three-pointers made per game during the regular season up to 3+ in the playoffs. He’s averaging 3.2 triples per game and he’s hit 3+ in six of nine outings. We’re taking the plus odds here.
And of course, we’re going to put our money where our mouth is regarding the King. We said LeBron James very rarely gets swept, and that’s because he usually overperforms when his team is on the brink of elimination. Since 2017, he has played in eight such games, and he has averaged 30.8 points. He scored 20+ in all of those, including 22 in L.A.’s elimination game loss last year and back-to-back 30-balls when the Lakers went down to the Nuggets in 2024.
Best Bet
- Rui Hachimura Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (+120)
- LeBron James To Score 20+ Points (-185)
