Derrick Henry, RB (BAL) - Over 86.5 Rushing Yards (-110)/Derrick Henry Anytime TD (-210)
There’s no two ways about it: Derrick Henry had one of the worst performances of his career in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. Which was strange, considering the 11-carry, 23-yard display came in the midst of a 41-point offensive explosion for the rest of the Ravens offense. The Browns are a solid defensive unit, but still, that performance was the anomaly of anomalies.
And those don’t tend to happen twice in a row. At least, not for great players like Henry. Since 2019, he has rushed for under 30 yards in just a half dozen games. In five of those, he rushed for 85+ yards, averaging just over 90 per game across those six contests. The greats always bounce back quickly.
The Lions’ defense hasn’t been awful against the run so far, but they haven’t been great either. In their own big Week 2 win, they allowed 91 yards on 19 carries (4.7 YPC) to Chicago’s backfield duo of D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai. The week before they contained Josh Jacobs a little bit better with 66 yards on 19 carries. Baltimore’s read-option is tough to recreate on scout team, however, so we like Henry to hit his over in this one.
On top of that—or instead, if you want a safer prop—we like Henry to get back in the end zone on Monday night. He didn’t score in Week 2, making it just the fifth game of the 21 he has played with the Ravens in which he didn’t reach pay dirt. Both Jacobs and Swift ran in a TD in their matchups with Detroit, so Henry should be able to follow suit.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR (DET) - To Record 70+ Receiving Yards (-128)
You won’t usually see a number this low for Amon-Ra St. Brown. He has averaged over 70 yards per game in each of the last four straight seasons. Through two games this season, he’s averaging 80 after a quiet day in Week 1 and an explosion in Week 2. And since the final month of his rookie year, St. Brown has reached the 70-yard plateau in over 63 percent of his games.
Through two weeks, the Ravens have given up the third-most passing yards in football. We believe the Bills’ offense a more apt comparison for Detroit’s unit than the Browns group Baltimore shellacked in Week 2, and Buffalo’s receivers really did a number on that Ravens secondary in Week 1. Take the over here.
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB (DET) - To Record 80+ Scrimmage Yards (-128)
Elsewhere on the Lions offense, Jahmyr Gibbs continues to be arguably the most exciting player to watch in the NFL. Every time he touches it he could house it. It’s baffling and shameful that he is still splitting carries with plodder David Montgomery. But even with Monty there, Gibbs has been as productive as they come.
Since the start of his sophomore season in 2024, Gibbs has consistently racked up 80+ yards from scrimmage. He can catch as well as he can pass, and that has allowed him to reach that plateau in 15 of his last 19 games, including seven of his last eight dating back to last December. Baltimore’s defense has been somewhat susceptible to backs catching passes so far this season too.
