Even after winning a Super Bowl and emerging as a superstar wideout with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tyreek Hill still wanted a bigger deal than they’d offer him in 2022. So he packed his bags and received the trade he requested. Two more Chiefs Super Bowls and two 1,700+ yard seasons for Hill with the Miami Dolphins later and it seems like both sides are back at square one.

Hill has had two pretty down years as the Mike McDaniel Miami experiment fell flat in the end. Hill had a gruesome knee injury midway through last season, but it seemed like he was already on his way out before that. He continually made cryptic social media posts that not only pointed to a Dolphins departure—but also to a Chiefs reunion. He was officially released by the Fins earlier this month.

Will Hill end up back in K.C. ? Or is there another team that has a chance to steal the speedster away? Check out the NFL betting odds for Tyreek Hill’s next team in 2026, including our best bet and our dark horse candidate.

Highlights

  • At +150, the Chiefs have the shortest odds to land Tyreek Hill during 2026 free agency
  • The rival Bills have the next-best odds, sitting at +650
  • Philadelphia could replace one disgruntled star wideout with another

The Favorite: Kansas City Chiefs (+150)

Taken all together, everything that Tyreek Hill has said over the last year or so would suggest that he is ready to return to the team that drafted him way back in the fifth round in 2016. The aforementioned social media posts paired with Hill’s repeated interactions with Chiefs or pro-Chiefs posts and accounts paint a pretty clear picture.

Our Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs (+150)

While we don’t love these odds for a futures betting market, this one seems pretty clear cut to us. Hill wanted to leave Miami, was vocal about the love he still had for the Chiefs, and eventually got his wish to be released. The Chiefs just so happen to have a dearth of star wideouts, as Hill could slot right back in as WR1 with Xavier Worthy playing in the slot.

Rashee Rice’s future with the team (and in the league) remains in question as he has consistently shown awful off-field judgement. That’s not to say Hill hasn’t had his own issues, but his aren’t affecting him right now. Hill wants to go back, the Chiefs need help on offense, and they’ve got money to make the move. Expect it.

Dark Horse Candidate: Philadelphia Eagles (+1,200)

If by some miracle the reunion does not work out, we have a hard time seeing Hill landing with Chiefs rivals like the Broncos or Bills. The Giants also seem unlikely as Hill just learned his lesson with a seemingly exciting young offense falling flat in Miami. The Eagles, meanwhile, are likely going to move disgruntled wideout A.J. Brown this offseason.

That means there’s space for Hill to take on that WR1 role. We assume he’s interested in joining a winner. A new wideout with Hill’s speed could open up that potent Eagles offense again like it was in 2024 when they won it all. Those +1,200 odds are worth the dart throw as well.
