The Round of 16 continues on July 7, with two South American giants taking the pitch.

Lionel Messi and Argentina will lock horns with Egypt in Atlanta after their slim victory over Cape Verde. Colombia and Switzerland then meet in the late afternoon at BC Place in Vancouver in what promises to be an entertaining affair.

Top Picks for World Cup Day 27 | July 7

Argentina vs Egypt

Argentina Over 2.5 Goals (+185)

The World Cup title-holders were handed a real scare by Cape Verde in the Round of 32, but despite conceding twice, they still bagged three goals. In fact, Argentina has cashed the Over in three of their four games in this tournament. Egypt is facing several defensive injuries heading into Tuesday's encounter, and, frankly, they've yet to face a team as lethal in front of goal as La Albiceleste. After being pushed to the absolute brink by the Blue Sharks, I expect Argentina to respond with authority. As always, look for Lionel Messi to hit the back of the net. He's scored in every match in the World Cup so far, and he's opened the scoring in three of Argentina's games.

🗸 Long Shot: Lionel Messi First Goal (+220)
🗸 Extra Tip: Argentina 3+ Goals (+190)

Switzerland vs Colombia

Under 2.5 Goals (-182)

The odds may not be great here, but we're looking at two sides that are incredibly sharp at the back. Switzerland has only conceded three times in the World Cup, while Colombia has allowed just one goal, and that came against Uzbekistan. Don't get me wrong, there is attacking talent on both teams. Johan Manzambi and Breel Embolo have proven to be a lethal duo up top for the Swiss, while Luis Diaz's abilities alongside the likes of Daniel Munoz, Jhon Arias, and Luis Suarez are capable of producing as well. But, I do expect a very tight, cagey affair here, given the defensive solidity. That being said, I do expect the Colombians to ultimately progress with a potential late winner, and it may very well come from their talisman, Diaz. He's a dangerous figure out wide, and the Bayern Munich star tends to step up in big moments for his country.

🗸 Long Shot: Luis Diaz Anytime Goal (+190)
🗸 Extra Tip: Colombia Moneyline (+128)
