Top Picks for World Cup Day 9 | June 19

USA vs Australia

USA vs Australia to Draw (+300)

The United States looked very impressive in their first match of the tournament, putting on a clinical attacking display against Paraguay in a 4-1 victory. But Australia, who have been overlooked in this group, will be a much tougher task for Mauricio Pochettino's side. The Socceroos upset Turkey last week in Vancouver with a 2-0 victory, and this team is always a gritty, hard-working squad on the global stage. Their attack is also very intriguing, led by youngster Nestory Irankunda, while Mohamed Toure's pace and abilities up top could also cause issues for the US backline. We'll see an entertaining clash in Seattle, but it will ultimately end level, with both teams finding the back of the net.

🗸 Long Shot: Folarin Balogun Anytime Goal (+130)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both Teams to Score (-105)

Scotland vs Morocco

Morocco Over 1.5 Goals (-105)

Morocco is a dark horse once again in this World Cup, and they proved their quality on matchday one in a 1-1 draw with South American giants Brazil. The African outfit will now face a Scotland side that narrowly beat Haiti in their opening match, and, to be frank, the Scots simply aren't on Morocco's level. Scotland's backline was tested numerous times by Haiti, which had 15 shots in total. The Moroccans possess considerable attacking firepower, and Ismael Saibari is a dangerous figure after scoring against the Brazilians. Expect the 2022 semifinalists to run riot against Scotland and keep a clean sheet.

🗸 Long Shot: Ismael Saibari Anytime Goal (+160)
🗸 Extra Tip: Morocco Clean Sheet (+105)

Brazil vs Haiti

Brazil to Win Nil (-143)

Brazil's first game against Morocco was highly anticipated, and to be honest, it finished exactly as many expected. Now, Carlo Ancelotti's men have a clear chance to take three points against debutants Haiti. They definitely held their own against Scotland, but Selecao is a completely different beast, and I expect their attack to cause major issues for Haiti. Vinicius Junior and Raphinha are electric, and Vini bagged Brazil's only goal so far with a thumping strike. The Haitians also lack enough attacking prowess for me to believe they will pose any serious threat to the Brazilians' experienced backline.

🗸 Long Shot: Vinicius Junior Anytime Goal (-156)
🗸 Extra Tip: Brazil Clean Sheet (-167)

Turkey vs Paraguay

Turkey Moneyline (+100)

Turkey entered the World Cup as a potential dark horse, but their matchday one showing was poor. Despite controlling the majority of the ball and registering a whopping 30 shots, including eight on target, Turkey were shut out by Australia. That will create serious motivation here, as their knockout-stage aspirations are in doubt without three points. The reality is that Turkey possesses strong attacking quality, and their ability to create opportunities is evident. Paraguay is no pushover, but the South Americans were embarrassed by the United States last week and struggled defensively. Turkey will prevail here.

🗸 Long Shot: Turkey Clean Sheet (+140)
🗸 Extra Tip: Arda Guler Over 1.5 SOG by Foot (+350)
