With the Bundesliga campaign only three weeks away, it’s a perfect time to look at the early 2025-26 Bundesliga futures. Bayern Munich have been the kings of Germany for years and they reclaimed the title last term from Bayer Leverkusen. By no surprise, they head into the upcoming season as a big favorite to lift the grand prize once again. Below, we’ll preview the futures.

Bayern is an overwhelming -325 favorite to lift the title. Dortmund is second at most soccer betting sites. Leverkusen, who lost two of their best players this summer, are third with +900 odds.
Bayern Munich (-325)
Bayern have won the title in 12 of the last 13 years so at this point, it’s no shock to see them as such a heavy frontrunner with -325 odds. No one has been able to touch them in the Bundesliga for over a decade, with the exception of Leverkusen’s historic campaign in 2023-24 where Xabi Alonso led them to the title. But, the Bavarians returned to superiority last term, finishing 13 points clear of Leverkusen. Harry Kane finally won his first piece of hardware, while Vincent Kompany enjoyed a successful first season at the helm. As for summer additions, Luis Diaz just joined from Liverpool. Jonathan Tah also comes over from Leverkusen. Thomas Muller meanwhile has left the club as he starts a new journey in the MLS with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Borussia Dortmund (+800)
Dortmund haven’t lifted the Bundesliga title since 2012 and that streak will likely continue this season. While the club certainly has a lot of quality, they will have a difficult time keeping up with Bayern. BVB enjoyed a respectable Club World Cup campaign and did manage to find some success when Niko Kovacs took over as he helped them secure the final Champions League spot last season. Dortmund signed Jobe Bellingham this summer as he follows in his brother’s footsteps, while Jamie Gittens left for Chelsea. Serhou Guirassy had a 21-goal campaign in 2024-25 and Dortmund will need him to be firing on all cylinders again if they’re going to have any shot at the title.
Bayer Leverkusen (+900)
Leverkusen’s squad will have a very different look this season, and their dugout for that matter. Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong departed for a special opportunity with Premier League title-holders Liverpool, while Xabi Alonso replaced Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid’s manager. Leverkusen brought in several players to try and replace their star duo, but it’s doubtful any of them will make the impact that Wirtz and Frimpong did. Erik ten Hag is now the boss, his first job since Manchester United. Leverkusen were second in the table last season, only losing three times.
Bundesliga Futures Picks
In no other top-five league in Europe does any club have such steep odds. But, it’s warranted. Bayern Munich are superior, and I do think they will take home the grand prize again. Jump on the -325 odds now, or potentially wait to see if the champions have a slow start. That may drop the odds to a number with more value for your money.
