2025-26 Premier League Golden Boot Futures: Outright Winner

PlayerOdds
Erling Haaland+125
Mo Salah+400
Alexander Isak+500
Viktor Gyokeres+1000
Hugo Ekitike+1600
Joao Pedro+1800
Cole Palmer+2000

Haaland leads the pack with +125 odds, while Salah has +400 odds. Alexander Isak, who could be leaving Newcastle, sits third at most soccer betting sites.

Erling Haaland (+125)

There was never any doubt that Haaland would quickly adapt to the Premier League when he arrived a few years ago. The Norwegian has been everything City could’ve asked for and more, already bagging 85 league goals across three seasons. But, 2024-25 was his worst so far, scoring 22 times. Not terrible by any means, but compared to his 36-goal debut Premier League campaign, it wasn’t up to Haaland’s standards. He’ll be motivated to bounce back this term and win his third Golden Boot, but he’ll definitely have stiff competition, most notably in Salah.

Mo Salah (+400)

Without Salah, Liverpool simply does not win the title last season. He did it all for the Merseysiders, scoring 29 times and also leading the top flight in assists, setting up 18 goals as well. The Egyptian is irreplaceable, and even though the Reds signed some new players this summer, Salah is still going to be the focal point of Arne Slot’s attack. He’s already captured the Premier League Golden Boot four times since arriving at Anfield and has a real chance at claming another when next May rolls around.

Alexander Isak (+500)

Isak is an interesting case. While he is undoubtedly Newcastle’s talisman and one of the best goal scorers in the world, he’s reportedly looking for a new opportunity elsewhere, with Liverpool and Chelsea both in the mix. With the Magpies last term, he scored 23 goals – his best Premier League campaign to date. His best opportunity at winning the Golden Boot would be at St. James’ Park because he is the main man for Eddie Howe. However, the Swede, of course, wants to win titles and compete on Europe’s biggest stage. A move to a Premier League giant would likely mean he’s not the main option up top. Something to keep in mind here.

Viktor Gyokeres (+1000)

Viktor Gyokeres may be 27, but he’s been one of the most lethal finishers on the globe over the last two seasons at Sporting Lisbon, scoring nearly 100 goals. His brilliance in Portugal helped the Sweden international secure a summer move to Arsenal, with the Gunners hoping he can be the No. 9 they’ve definitely needed. Gyokeres has all the tools to succeed in the Premier League – physicality, skill, and an instinct for goal – but winning a Golden Boot in his first campaign will be difficult. That being said, if he can keep scoring at the same rate as he did in Portugal, he has a chance at the award.

Golden Boot Picks

Hugo Ekitike, Joao Pedro, and Cole Palmer are other considerations, but to be honest, it will likely come down to Haaland and Salah again. If Isak stays at Newcastle, he could be in the mix as well. At this moment, putting money down on both Haaland and his Liverpool rival is the best move.
