Napoli came out on top last term, edging out Inter Milan by just one point to lift the Scudetto. The holders will head into the upcoming season as a favorite to win another, but Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus all need to be considered as well. Below, we’ll discuss these contenders and discuss any notable summer moves that could propel them to Serie A glory.

2025-26 Serie A Futures: Outright Winner

Napoli sits as a +150 frontrunner, while Inter is second at most soccer betting sites. After Milan and Juve at +450, the title odds drop off drastically.

Napoli (+150)

It was a magical season in 2024-25, winning their second title in the last three years. Scott McTominay played a massive part after arriving from Manchester United, bagging the game-winning goal on matchday 38 and ultimately winning Serie A Player of the Year. McTominay scored 12 times and supplied four assists in his debut campaign in Italy. He’ll be back to lead the squad in ‘25-26, while the most notable addition is Kevin De Bruyne joining from Manchester City. While the Belgian isn’t in his prime anymore, he’s still a phenomenal player with world-class playmaking skills. We saw how well McTominay adjusted to Serie A – De Bruyne could follow suit. There aren't many changes to this side, with Victor Osimhen nearing a permanent move to Turkish giants Galatasaray. A third Scudetto in four seasons would be a serious accomplishment for Napoli.

Inter Milan (+300)

Honestly, last season could be considered downright heartbreaking for the Nerazzurri. Not only did they lose the Serie A title on the final matchday but Inter also tasted defeat again in the Champions League final. This time it wasn’t just a 1-0 loss though – Simone Inzaghi’s men were destroyed by PSG. Shortly after that, Inzaghi departed for Al-Hilal. Former Inter defender Cristian Chivu has taken over for the Italian at the San Siro and will be looking to lead his ex-club to glory. It will be essentially the exact same group this season, with Inter making minimal moves in the summer transfer window. Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will continue to lead the line. The Nerazzurri have all the talent to win the Scudetto, but it will be interesting to see how they fare under a new boss.

Juventus (+450)

It has been a rough few years for Juve, who struggled to even finish in the top four in Italy at one point. But, it appears they’re back and ready to contend. The Old Lady secured the final Champions League spot last term, finishing with an 18-16-4 record and 70 points overall. It has been a very busy window for the club too, landing the likes of Jonathan David, Pierre Kalulu, Lloyd Kelly, and Joao Mario. The headliner there is David, a Canadian international who developed into a clinical finisher over the last few seasons at French side Lille. He will be an important part of this attack. Juve is the most successful club in Italy with 36 Serie A titles. We’ll see if they can find that greatness again.

AC Milan (+450)

Out of all these Italian giants, Milan is the only one who will be hoping to completely forget last season. The Rossoneri were eighth in the table – an embarrassing performance for a club of this stature. They finished with an 18-9-11 record and 63 points, a whole 19 points behind winners Napoli. As a result, Paolo Fonseca was sacked after just one year at the helm, with ex-Juve manager Max Allegri taking over in May. He’ll bring a plethora of experience to the table for Milan, having been in the Juve dugout for many years. The club certainly made changes this summer, parting ways with Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders, who joined Al-Hilal and Manchester City, respectively. Real Madrid legend Luka Modric joined, while Pervis Estupinan came over from Brighton.

Serie A Futures Picks

Napoli is in very good shape heading into the campaign and to me, have a high chance of capturing another Scudetto. But, I do believe Juventus and Inter deserve a look as well. Milan changed things up, but I do not think an aging Modric and Estupinan are going to make enough of a difference to propel them to a title.
