With less than 40 days left in the NFL offseason, it’s time to start focusing in on the bevy of NFL futures betting markets for the 2025 NFL campaign. You can bet on nearly anything before the season starts, and right now we’re taking a look at the 2025 league leaders markets.

This time around, we’re going to handicap the race to be 2025’s receiving yards king. The “most regular season receiving yards in 2025” futures betting market, to be exact. As with nearly every other such market, last year’s leader—in this case, Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase—sits atop the odds board as the favorite.

However, there really isn’t an option on this board that’s not offering value. Without further ado, let’s dive into the NFL betting odds and favorites for the race to be 2025’s NFL receiving king!

Highlights

  • The only back-to-back receiving kings ever are Jerry Rice, and Calvin and Andre Johnson
  • Brock Bowers is the only TE in the top 25 on the odds board
  • A different player has led the league in receiving yards for the last 6 straight years

The Favorites

Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals (+600): There have only been a handful of players ever to lead the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs in the same season in NFL history. Only four since the 1970 merger, to be exact. Ja’Marr Chase made it five last year. All the stars aligned for him from an individual perspective, and he made it count.

However, unless you’re Jerry Rice or a guy named Johnson (Calvin or Andre), you’re not going to lead the NFL in receiving in back-to-back years. They’re the only three who have done it. And the last four guys to win the receiving triple crown like Chase did all saw drop-offs of multiple hundred yards the next year as well. Not to mention six different WRs have led the league in this category over the last six years. There’s better value out there.

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings (+800): Chase’s old LSU teammate and the 2022 receiving yards king, Justin Jefferson had an excellent year in 2024. Though because Chase was so good, Jefferson was overshadowed. And now, he’s essentially got a rookie QB throwing him the ball in J.J. McCarthy. The jury is still out, obviously, but Jefferson has already said people should temper their expectations about the QB. We love Jefferson, but McCarthy gives us pause here.

Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams (+900): This is the one we like the most among the favorites. Puka Nacua missed six games last year due to injury, but on a per game basis, he was behind only Chase and Jefferson. He’s averaging over 88 yards a game for his career, and with Cooper Kupp now out of the picture, it’s going to be the Puka Nacua show in L.A. Matthew Stafford has been feeding Nacua since Day 1, and that will continue in 2025. At +900 odds from most betting sites, Nacua is a great value right now.

Long Shot Value Bets

  • CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (+1,200): If we had to choose one bet on the board, this would be the one. CeeDee Lamb showed he can put up 1700+ yards (which is the ballpark for leading the league these days) when he had Dak Prescott healthy in 2023. With George Pickens now making doubles on Lamb essentially impossible, the former Sooner could go nuclear.
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks (+3,500): With Jaxon Smith-Njigba the last man standing in Seattle’s receiving room and over-the-hill Cooper Kupp coming in, JSN is set for a major breakout year. Sam Darnold showed he can carry receivers to big statistical seasons last year.
