2025 AFC South Over/Under Win Totals - Betting Odds
Houston Texans: The Texans have dominated this division in the short C.J. Stroud era, winning nine of 12 games in AFC South divisional play over the last two years. In 2025, we think they go 5-1 like they did last year. However, the rest of their schedule is pretty tough. They would probably be happy with a split of their eight games out West, which gives them nine wins. They are also @ BAL, vs. BUF, and vs. TB. They could beat the Buccaneers, but we wouldn’t stake our futures bet on that result, so we’ll stick with nine.
Best Bet: Houston Texans Over 8.5 Wins (-185)
Jacksonville Jaguars: This is the most intriguing team in the division. The Jags have the talent to win double-digit games, but they also have the capacity to collapse in on themselves and win only five or six. We’re going with the former, though. They haven’t been worse than 3-3 in the division since 2022, but we think they’ll sweep the Titans or Colts, so let’s call it 4-2. We think they’ll steal one from the toughest division in football (AFC West) and another couple from the NFC West, giving them seven. If they can win one game against the Panthers or Jets (not exactly a tall order), they will reach eight wins. Nine seems wholly within reach, but we won’t get greedy.
Best Bet: Jacksonville Jaguars Over 7.5 Wins (-110)
Indianapolis Colts: A lot of sportsbooks and people in general seem to be a lot higher on the Colts than we are. And we’re not sure why. They’ve got a great running game with Jonathan Taylor. … And that’s it. Their QB situation is brutal and their defense—which was terrible last year—didn’t get much of a jolt. We’re predicting two, maybe three wins from their divisional games. We can see them beating the Cardinals at home, but we legitimately can’t envision how they could beat any of the other seven teams from the AFC and NFC West. Maybe the Seahawks. We think they could beat Miami and Atlanta at home, but not the Steelers in Pittsburgh. So that’s five wins on a conservative prediction, and seven if we’re being generous. And we’re not sure why we would be generous.
Best Bet: Indianapolis Colts Under 6.5 Wins (+145)
Tennessee Titans: Only time will tell how Cam Ward will turn out, but we won’t know by the end of this year. And it could be an ugly one for the Titans overall, even if Ward has an encouraging rookie season. We’ll give them two wins in the AFC South, and maybe three if they can come off their bye and upset the Texans in Week 11. They’ll go 0-for-4 in the AFC West, but we can see them beating one or two teams in the NFC West. They should also be able to go 2-for-3 in their three additional games: vs. NE, @ CLE, and vs. NO.
Best Bet: Tennessee Titans Under 6.5 Wins (-160)/Betway
