2025 NFC West Over/Under Win Totals - Betting Odds
San Francisco 49ers: When it comes to divisional matchups, Kyle Shanahan knows what he’s doing. He’s won over 60 percent of his divisional games since 2019, and we like him to keep that up with a 4-2 record here. And that’s being conservative. They could sweep the AFC South, but we’ll give them one loss there. The NFC South is arguably worse, but we’ll still call it 3-1 to be safe. Their three other games (@ NYG, @ IND, and vs. CHI) are all, shall we say, winnable as well. That’s 13 wins conservatively, but this team could easily win 14 games, so we’re going way over on 11.5 here. If Ontario sportsbooks pushed the line up to 12.5, we’d still take it.
Best Bet: San Francisco 49ers Over 11.5 Wins (+170)
Los Angeles Rams: The Rams are a tough one to gauge because, depending on Matt Stafford’s back holds up, this season could totally collapse. But even if it doesn’t, they’re going to be in tough here. With a stronger 49ers team this year, they’re not likely to sweep any division opponents, so they get three wins there. In a best case scenario, they could get 6/8 from the AFC and NFC South. But they could just as easily go 4/8. Then they have possibly the worst run of additional games on any NFL schedule this year: @ PHI, @ BAL, vs. DET. Even nine wins feels like a stretch here, but we’ll play it safe.
Best Bet: Los Angeles Rams Under 10.5 Wins (-165)
Arizona Cardinals: This is another NFC West team we’re not super high on. Especially not as high as Vegas seems to be. Kyler Murray remains a question mark and there’s not a ton of other exciting talent. We’ll give them three wins from their six divisional games, but two seems very possible too. This team was just 2-6 on the road last year, and they could struggle away from home again. They play six road games against non-divisional opponents, and we have a hard time seeing them winning more than two of those. In their remaining home games, they may be able to best the Titans, Colts, and Falcons, but no more than that. Eight wins seems generous.
Best Bet: Arizona Cardinals Under 8.5 Wins (-105)
Seattle Seahawks: For our money, this could be the team that’s challenging the 49ers in the division down the stretch. Off the top, we’ll give them three wins from their divisional games. However, they could get four if the Rams or Cardinals (or both) are as bad as we think they might be. And five wouldn’t be out of the question if the 49ers have the division sewn up by their Week 18 matchup and rest their starters there. So, on second thought, let’s call it four. They should be able to get three more wins from the NFC South, and at least two from the AFC South. That’s nine wins, as we think they’ll drop all three of their additionals (@ PIT, @ WAS, vs. MIN).
Best Bet: Seattle Seahawks Over 8.5 Wins (+130)/Betway
