The Favorites
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals (+700): Ja’Marr Chase is a Vegas darling right now. They’re favoring him to lead the league in everything he can. And while he did do it all last year, it’s not the sort of thing that is generally repeated. The Bengals will throw the ball a lot, but we see Joe Burrow spreading it out a little bit more this year.
Tee Higgins, Mike Gesicki, Chase Brown, and Andre Iosivas all figure prominently into this attack. At +700, this is probably the one we’d most likely choose Chase for—rather than TDs or yards—but we still think there’s better value elsewhere. Only three guys have led the league in receptions in back-to-back seasons since 1970 and 14 different guys have led the league in receptions since 2010. It feels like it’ll be someone else’s turn in 2025.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions (+900): And why not Amon-Ra St. Brown? He has been second in the league in receptions in each of the last two years, with 119 in 2023 and 115 in 2024. We think this is his year to go over the top. Jameson Williams will be a larger figure in the offense, but he doesn’t need many touches or targets to have an impact. St. Brown has had 234 receptions over the last two combined years, second-most behind the other guy with +900 odds.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (+900): With George Pickens coming in to take attention away from CeeDee Lamb, he could bounce back with another massive season like the one he had in 2023. Dak Prescott is fully healthy, and Lamb is still in his prime and only getting better. We love him and St. Brown, and we’re having a tough time choosing between the two. We might just take a flier on both.
Long Shot Value Bet
- Nico Collins, Houston Texans (+1,800): We really like Lamb and St. Brown, but down the odds board there is some other value to consider. Nico Collins had 30 receptions through the first four games last year, third-best in football. He got hurt in the next game, which took him out of the running. Tank Dell might be out all year, and veteran slot guy Christian Kirk isn’t likely to eat into Collins’ workload. He seems set for a career year, and with +1,800 odds at most sports betting sites, he’s definitely worth a dart throw.
