2025 World Series MVP Odds
| Player | Odds |
| Shohei Ohtani | +165 |
| Vladimir Guerrero Jr | +600 |
| George Springer | +1100 |
| Freddie Freeman | +1300 |
| Teoscar Hernandez | +1700 |
| Mookie Betts | +1800 |
| Bo Bichette | +2000 |
Ohtani is a heavy favorite with +165 odds at MLB sportsbooks. Vladimir Guerrero Jr sits behind him at +600 after winning ALCS MVP.
Shohei Ohtani (+165)
It’s common knowledge that Ohtani is the best baseball player on the planet, and he showed just that in the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers. After struggling offensively in the NLDS, the Japanese superstar came alive as the Dodgers swept the NL Central winners. Ohtani smacked three home runs in Game 4 and also threw six innings on the hill, striking out 10. While he was relatively quiet in Games 1-3, Ohtani has a realistic chance at World Series MVP because he’s making an impact in two ways. He tends to shine when the lights are brightest, and there’s no bigger stage than the Fall Classic.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr (+600)
Vladdy was built for this moment. You could see the emotion in his face when Toronto won the pennant. This World Series berth means everything to Guerrero Jr, and he’s been absolutely unstoppable in these playoffs. The slugger is batting .442 with six home runs and 12 RBIs. He went deep three times in the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners en route to being named series MVP. Vladdy is red hot, and you can just see the confidence every time he steps up to the plate. He’s on a roll, and there’s no reason it should stop against the Dodgers. Guerrero loves the big stage, just like Ohtani.
George Springer (+1100)
The reality is the Blue Jays wouldn’t be in the World Series if it weren’t for George Springer. He’s a massive part of this ball club both on and off the field. Springer played hero in Game 7 on Monday, smacking a game-winning three-run bomb in the seventh inning to put Toronto ahead for good. Despite leaving Game 5 with a knee injury, Springer took the pain and was back out there in Game 6. He’s hitting .239 in the postseason, but his energy is unmatched. Springer is also no stranger to the World Series stage from his time with the Houston Astros. He won Fall Classic MVP in 2017 against this same Dodgers team, smacking five homers in that series.
Freddie Freeman (+1300)
We have to mention the reigning World Series MVP. Freddie Freeman took home the honors a year ago after batting .300 with four homers against the New York Yankees. That includes the epic walk-off bomb in Game 1 off Nestor Cortes that was heard around the world. Freeman is a consistent playoff performer, but he’s hitting just .231 in the postseason. Nevertheless, he could break out when it matters most.
2025 World Series MVP Picks
I do think it will come down to Ohtani and Guerrero. But Vladdy is the one who is scorching hot, and the Jays are being underestimated. He’ll lead them to a title and capture World Series MVP in the process.
