Chelsea vs Arsenal Odds

The Gunners are a very slim +121 favorite at soccer betting sites. The Blues aren’t far behind, sitting at +242 odds on the moneyline. A draw for this two-legged affair is priced at +235.
The last clash between these two sides was in November, and it ended 1-1 in Premier League action. However, that extended Arsenal’s unbeaten run against Chelsea to eight games. They haven’t lost to their London rivals since August of 2021.
Chelsea vs Arsenal Analysis
There’s been a lot of change at Stamford Bridge over the last few weeks. Enzo Maresca and Chelsea decided to go their separate ways, and the Blues quickly pivoted to hire Liam Rosenior as their next boss, who was in charge at Chelsea’s sister club, Strasbourg. Rosenoir secured a 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic in his first game in the dugout, but now, he faces a highly difficult task on Wednesday.
Overall, the Blues have been in relatively poor form, which ultimately contributed to the demise of Maresca. They’ve compiled just one victory across their last six games across all competitions, and that win came against Charlton. While Chelsea salvaged a point against Man City at the beginning of the month, Fulham proceeded to beat them just days later. The Blues are down in eighth place in the EPL table at the moment, and the Carabao Cup may be their only realistic shot at hardware this term.
The Gunners are truly having a phenomenal campaign, and it’s hard to find any side in the world with such impressive depth. Despite dealing with a plethora of key injuries this season, Arsenal has managed to consistently find positive results, with numerous players stepping up to the plate when called upon. Mikel Arteta’s side is sitting six points clear at the top of the Premier League standings, and while the Carabao Cup isn’t their No. 1 focus, winning this trophy is very much possible.
The Gunners certainly have revenge on their mind after a shocking exit at this stage in 2024-25, with Newcastle smashing them 4-0 on aggregate across two legs. The North Londoners are in good form heading into Wednesday’s affair, winning eight of nine matches since a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on December 6. They also just advanced in the FA Cup over the weekend, beating Portsmouth 4-1 at Fratton Park.
Chelsea vs Arsenal Injury News
Mykhaylo Mudryk (doping suspension), Romeo Lavia (thigh), and Levi Colwill (knee) remain unavailable for Chelsea, while Moises Caicedo will miss out due to an accumulation of yellow cards in the competition. For Arsenal, Piero Hincapie (thigh), Riccardo Calafiori (muscle), and Cristhian Mosquera (ankle) are all battling injuries.
Chelsea vs Arsenal Picks
Chelsea proved in November that they can compete with Arsenal, but it’s also hard to ignore the visitors' impressive track record against the Blues. I’ll take the Gunners to win the opening leg.
