Last week, we missed out on a perfect 3-for-3 Thursday Night Football betting card by just two James Cook receiving yards. Still, overall, it was a good night that put us in the black on the season. The TNF crew at Amazon gets a divisional rivalry for the second straight time here in Week 4 with the NFC West’s Arizona Cardinals welcoming the Seattle Seahawks to the desert.

We’ve got moneyline and over/under predictions as well as top betting odds and player prop picks too! Read on for everything you need to know for Thursday night’s NFL action!

Cardinals vs. Seahawks Point Spread/Moneyline Prediction

Through three weeks, both the Seahawks and Cardinals are 2-1, but it’s hard not to feel like Seattle has been a bit more impressive. They lost a tight game to the undefeated 49ers, but they beat up on the 2-1 Steelers and blew out the Saints, who hung around to keep things tight in their first two games.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, also lost to the 49ers, but were unconvincing in wins over those lowly Saints and the Panthers, both of whom they beat by one score. And while Arizona is at home here, unlike past iterations, this Seahawks team actually thrives on the road. They are 8-1 away from the Pacific Northwest since head coach Mike Macdonald took over prior to the 2024 season.

The loss of starting RB James Conner cannot be understated for the Cardinals either. Running the ball against the Seahawks was already hard enough—they allow just 3.2 yards a carry, third-fewest in football. But without your bell cow, it could make things tough considering the Seahawks defensive front has also put up the fourth-highest pressure rate in the NFL. We don’t usually like road favorites, but this is basically a pick ‘em on most Canadian betting sites, so we’re going with the Seahawks.

Prediction: Seattle Seahawks Moneyline (-116)

Cardinals vs. Seahawks Over/Under Total Prediction

Last week, we took the over in a divisional game on Thursday night… and it worked out. It was quite a swing, and we’re glad we made the right call there. But it’s not something we want to get into the habit of doing.

Divisional games are generally more hard fought than others, and that means fewer points more often than not. We think the Cardinals defense is sturdy enough to hold the Seahawks off another offensive explosion, and the Arizona offense will also be hampered as they figure out how to replace Conner. We’ll buy a couple of points and take the under here.

Prediction: Alternative Game Total Points Under 46.5 (-172)

Cardinals vs. Seahawks Player Prop Best Bets

PlayerAnytime Touchdown Odds
Trey Benson, RB (ARI)+105
Kenneth Walker III, RB (SEA)+110
Trey McBride, TE (ARI)+165
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR (SEA)+160
Zach Charbonnet, RB (SEA)+175
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR (ARI)+185

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been a revelation to start the season. He’s fourth in receptions (22) and second in receiving yards (323) in the NFL and he’s been beautifully consistent through these first three weeks. He has 95+ yards in each game, 5+ receptions, and 6+ targets. And those numbers are deflated if anything: last week, he had five receptions for 96 yards—seemingly impressive numbers—but that was only because the blowout nature of the game allowed him to sit for over half of the offensive snaps.

In the first two games, he was at a 65+ percent snap share. This one will not be a blowout, so JSN will be out there for a full complement of snaps. And so far, that means double-digit targets from Sam Darnold. And to us, that means slapping the over on his receiving yards prop (or any other JSN prop you like).

Oh, and did we mention the Cardinals have given up the most receptions and the sixth-most receiving yards to opposing WRs so far this year?
