Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons are becoming very familiar with the bright lights of a Game 7 in the NBA playoffs. After winning Game 7s at home in Round 1, they face off against one another in the second round in another Game 7 here, this time with only the Pistons enjoying the homecourt advantage.

Who wins will depend heavily on which team’s top dogs play up to their expectations. Will the inside-outside duo of Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren tell for Detroit, or can Cleveland’s dynamic backcourt duo put up one more big performance to push the Cavs to victory?

We break down our three favorite player props from the Game 7 slate and provide you with the top NBA betting odds available too!

Highlights

  • Tobias Harris has scored 15+ in 10 of 13 elimination games in his playoff career
  • Cade Cunningham has not had back-to-back sub-25-point games this postseason
  • Donovan Mitchell averages 28.6 points following a night of 30 percent or worse shooting

Cavaliers vs. Pistons Game 7 - Player Prop Best Bets

Tobias Harris had a rare shocker in Game 6, contributing just six points on 2-for-7 shooting. However, Harris is usually as reliable as they come. And he’s generally good in the big moments. In his extensive 80-game playoff career, he has played in 13 elimination games.

He has put up 15+ in 10 of those while averaging 18.2 points overall. In four career Game 7s, he has topped 15 every time. He’s scored 15, 24, 19, and most recently, 30 huge points in Detroit’s Game 7 win in Round 1. The -210 odds are shorter than we usually like to put out here, but it really feels like a lock.

Cade Cunningham has been strutting his MVP stuff this postseason, willing his Pistons to wins on more than one occasion over the last few weeks. He had a down night in Game 6, but he hasn’t failed to score 25 points in back-to-back games so far in these playoffs, which means he’s due for a bounce back here.

Donovan Mitchell really struggled in Game 6 after putting up a record-setting 39 points in the second half of a Game 5 win. He scored just 18 points while shooting an abysmal 6-for-20 from the field. But the good news for us is that Spida loves a bounce back game as well.

He has shot the ball at 30 percent or worse seven other times this season, and in his next game following those duds, he has averaged 28.6 points, including five games where he topped 25 points. James Harden has been the more reliable of Cleveland’s backcourt stars during this postseason, but we like Mitchell to have the offensive explosion this time around.

Best Bet

  • Cade Cunningham To Score 25+ Points (-185)
  • Donovan Mitchell To Score 25+ Points (-160)
