Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Odds

While both teams have plus odds, Arsenal is a slim +120 favorite at soccer betting sites. Bayern returns at +220, while a draw is priced at +250.

These two met in the 2023-24 quarterfinals, with the German outfit prevailing 3-2 on aggregate. Overall, Bayern has won eight of the 14 meetings, with three others ending level.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Analysis

The Gunners are having a phenomenal campaign, and it genuinely feels like they may finally conquer the Premier League after back-to-back runner-up finishes. Mikel Arteta’s men are six points clear at the top of the table, and they just hammered Spurs in the North London derby on Sunday behind a hat trick from Eberechi Eze. Despite missing several players, Arsenal was still dominant, and their squad depth is unmatched.

Arteta’s side has looked just as sharp in the Champions League. Alongside Bayern and Inter Milan, the North Londoners have grabbed a perfect 12 points from four games in the competition. Last time out before the international break, the Gunners ran riot on Slavia Praha. They’ve also beaten Atletico Madrid, Olympiakos, and Athletic Club. Arsenal has kept a clean sheet in every European fixture while scoring 11 times. Flawless.

When you think about the most impressive sides on the globe three months into the season, Bayern is right there with Arsenal. Vincent Kompany has done a tremendous job at the Allianz Arena, guiding his team to a 10-1-0 start. They’re six points above second-place RB Leipzig, and Munich’s backline has conceded just eight times. The Bundesliga champions put six past Freiburg on Saturday, with five different players finding the net. Former Crystal Palace standout Michael Olise led the way with a brace.

In the Champions League, Bayern has been just as strong as their matchday-five opponents. They’ve collected victories against title-holders PSG, Club Brugge, Pafos, and Chelsea. They’ve scored 14 times and conceded only three. Harry Kane has accounted for five of those goals, and he makes his return to the red side of North London on Wednesday.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Injury News

Arsenal remains without several notable names: Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Gabriel Jesus are all unavailable. They did get a boost on Sunday, though, with the return of Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke.

As for Bayern, they won’t have the clinical Luis Diaz, who is serving a three-match suspension in Europe. Serge Gnabry missed out on the weekend, but there’s optimism he’ll feature on Wednesday. Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies remain sidelined.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Picks

This fixture has all the makings of a thriller that should go down to the wire. Both of these teams can compete for the UCL title, but there’s not much separating them. I’ll take a draw at the Emirates.
