The kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. Barca sits at the top of the LaLiga table at the moment and impressively opened their UCL campaign, beating Newcastle on matchday one. As for Paris, they’re in first in Ligue 1, and also cruised to victory in their first UCL game, smashing Atalanta. Below, find the Barcelona vs PSG picks.

Barcelona vs PSG Odds

Barcelona heads into this clash as a -118 favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. PSG returns as a +270 road underdog. A draw is priced at +310 odds.

These two have locked horns 14 times in the Champions League, both grabbing five wins apiece. Their last meeting was in the 2023-24 quarterfinals, with Paris running out 6-4 winners on aggregate.

Barcelona vs PSG Analysis

The LaLiga champions are flying high this term, and just received a major boost this past weekend with the return of phenom Lamine Yamal, who was nursing an injury. Barcelona have yet to taste defeat and in fact, they’ve only dropped two points in total, with one draw in all competitions. In Spain, Hansi Flick’s men own a 6-1-0 record, bagging 21 goals and conceding just five. In the Champions League, they were powered by Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford in Newcastle.

The Englishman scored a brace in his return to England, with the second goal leaving all of St. James’ Park stunned. Rashford has been a nice addition to this Barcelona attack, and he also tallied an assist on the weekend as the Catalans beat Real Sociedad 2-1. Jules Kounde and Robert Lewandowski produced the goods, while Yamal tallied an assist in his first game in weeks. Barca is arguably the most in-form side in the world at the moment, and they will be feeling very confident ahead of a mammoth clash with a bitter European rival.

PSG is also looking solid to begin 2025-26, but they’re not running away with Ligue 1 quite yet. Despite being in first place, Luis Enrique’s side is level on points with Lyon after losing to Marseille just over a week ago. Enrique is also dealing with quite a depleted squad right now, which we’ll discuss in more detail below.

After that defeat to the Olympiens, Paris bounced back over the weekend, beating Auxerre by two goals. Illia Zabarnyi and Lucas Beraldo hit the back of the net for the hosts, who frankly should’ve scored more after controlling 67% of the possession. As for the UCL, PSG was phenomenal a couple of weeks ago against Atalanta, winning by four goals. Needless to say, the visitors can expect a much more difficult fixture on Wednesday in Spain.

Barcelona vs PSG Injury News

While Yamal is back to full fitness, Flick is still without several key players. Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Joan Garcia, Gavi, Raphinha, and Fermin Lopez remain out. Rashford will see another start with his Brazilian teammate sidelined. As for Paris, they’re without Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele, who is set to be on the shelf until the end of October with a hamstring issue. Desire Doue (calf), Joao Neves (hamstring), Fabian Ruiz (muscle), and captain Marquinhos are all unavailable as well. To make matters worse, Georgian sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is now hurt, too.

Barcelona vs PSG Picks

Barcelona is more or less in good health, while PSG is not. They’re missing too many vital pieces. I’ll take the Barca moneyline with confidence.
