Oklahoma is a clear -300 moneyline favorite at online betting sportsbooks. They’re also favored by 7.5 points on the spread. The Tigers return at +240 odds. The Sooners are 6-4 ATS this year, while Mizzou has covered six times. Only two of Oklahoma’s games have cashed the Over. The Tigers have hit the Over on six occasions.
2024 was the first meeting between Missouri and Oklahoma in 13 years, and the Tigers emerged victorious on home soil, winning 30-23.
Missouri vs Oklahoma Analysis
With a 7-3 record overall and a 3-3 record in SEC action, Mizzou’s CFP path is already closed. They have no shot at making the tournament, so at this point, it’s about playing spoiler against a bitter rival. The Tigers will be hoping to pull off the upset on Saturday, and they certainly come in with some confidence after last weekend’s 49-point outburst against Mississippi State, outgaining the Bulldogs 438–345. It was Mizzou’s rushing offense that really stole the show as they were responsible for 326 of those yards.
Ahmad Hardy exploded for 300 yards, and he remains one of the best backs in the country. He’ll be relied upon to make some noise in Norman, but he’ll be up against an Oklahoma run defense that is fourth in the country. They’re allowing just 82.2 yards on the ground per contest. Mizzou hasn’t won a game in Norman since 1966, and they also haven’t played in this stadium since 2011.
Oklahoma looks like the real deal, and their win over Bama definitely opened eyes across the country. The Tide were in the midst of an eight-game winning streak before the Sooners rolled into Tuscaloosa and pulled out a 23-21 victory, which strengthened their CFP case in the process. A two-loss team can still make the field, but OU must win its last two contests against Missouri and LSU next weekend.
While OU has some promising offensive weapons, the defense is what separates this team. Oklahoma is second in the nation in sacks and eighth in fewest points allowed, conceding just 14.8 per week. They’ll also face an inexperienced quarterback in Missouri freshman Matt Zollers. He’s in line for just his third start at the college level.
Missouri vs Oklahoma Picks
Both defenses are legitimate strengths, and neither quarterback brings much explosiveness into this matchup. With two strong defenses and two unproven QBs, the Under carries real value
