As you can see, Indiana is a massive -1000 moneyline favorite at online betting sites. Wisconsin returns as a +2000 underdog. The Hoosiers are also laying 29.5 points on the spread, while the total is set at 44.5 points.
As for recent meetings, Indiana has won the last two, most recently beating the Badgers 20-14 in 2023 in Bloomington.
Wisconsin vs Indiana Analysis
It’s been a poor campaign for the Badgers, who are sitting at 3-6 heading into Week 11. They’re sitting towards the bottom of the Big Ten, and Wisconsin has compiled a disappointing 1-5 record in conference play. Not much is going right for this program, and they’ve yet to win a game on the road, going 0-3 in 2025. On a more positive note, the Badgers managed to grab a huge victory in Week 11, which ended an embarrassing six-game losing skid.
While they only scored 13 points, Wisconsin held the Huskies to just 251 total yards and 10 points. Washington was ranked No. 23 in the country before the defeat, so this win was definitely a feather in the cap of the Badgers. Their defense will be faced with a huge test on Saturday, though, as Indiana is one of the best offensive programs in the nation. Wisconsin was already blown out this season by the No. 1 team in the country, Ohio State, by a score of 34-0.
The Hoosiers used to be strictly a basketball school, but that’s changed in recent years. Indiana now has an elite football program, and they look poised to compete for a national championship in January. The Hoosiers are giving Ohio State a run for their money in the Big Ten, and as things stand, they’re in first place due to one more game played. Heisman Trophy frontrunner Fernando Mendoza is the engine of this offense, and he’s been nothing short of spectacular since transferring from Cal this past offseason.
The signal-caller has the Hoosiers at 10-0, completing 71% of his passes for 2,342 yards and 26 touchdowns against five interceptions. Mendoza threw for another 218 yards in Week 11 against Penn State, completing 19 of 30 passes for a touchdown. Indiana’s offense leads the nation in points, scoring 44.5 per game. They’re also elite defensively, allowing just 12.1 per contest. There’s no weakness in this team.
Wisconsin vs Indiana Picks
This matchup should be a cakewalk for Indiana. They’re a much better team than Wisconsin, but that victory over Washington definitely instilled some confidence in this Badgers defense. They’ve also covered the spread in back-to-back games. I’ll take them to keep this one closer than 30 points.
