Denver (3-2) is a 3-point home underdog against Seattle on Thursday night, and the efficiency gap between these two teams backs that line. Both of the Broncos top two cornerbacks, Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss, were ruled out in Week 5 and this week Surtain II is listed as doubtful and Moss is listed as questionable. The short turnaround for the Thursday game does not help that situation getting ready to take on Sam Darnold and a Seahawks’ (3-2) passing offense that ranks 16th in the league.
Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks Best Bet
Seattle Seahawks -3: -102
I'm backing Seattle here at-3. Seattle has been the better team on both sides of the ball through five weeks, and Denver's offence has topped 20 points only twice this season and only ranks 26th in ppg. Denver's banged-up secondary only adds to the mismatch against a Seattle passing game that has been pretty solid this season. While the Seahawks have given up an average of 29.3 ppg in their last three games, they will be facing a Broncos’ team that has only totaled 37 points in their last two games.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 89.5 Receiving Yards: -116
Smith-Njigba has topped 100 receiving yards in four of his five games this season, including 102 against the 49ers in the last game. Denver's injury-depleted cornerback corps gives Seattle's top target a favourable matchup. That mix of volume and opportunity is why I like the Over.

Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks Analysis
The Denver side
Bo Nix has thrown for 942 yards with 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions across five starts, but Denver's offence is averaging just 269.0 yards and 19.4 ppg. The bigger issue is the defence, allowing 347.4 yards a game and with couple of top corners banged up. The Broncos only two losses this season were against the two undefeated teams of the Chiefs and the 49ers.
The Seattle side
Sam Darnold has been sharp since returning from the hip injury that cost him Week 2, throwing for 755 yards with 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions over four starts, including a 4-touchdown day in a 33-31 loss to Washington. Seattle is averaging 328.0 yards and 26.8 ppg a game behind Smith-Njigba's work through the air. Emanuel Wilson has handled the early-down work (53 carries, 190 yards) while Zach Charbonnet still works back from last season's ACL tear.
Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks Prediction
Bet365 lists Seattle at -156 to win outright, a de-vigged win probability of 58% against 42% for Denver. I'm a little higher on the Seahawks, around 61%, because Denver may be missing its top two cornerbacks on a three-day turnaround while Seattle's. That's a real edge toward the road favourite. I also expect Seattle's offence to be the steadier one over 60 minutes, ranking eighth in the league averaging 26.8 ppg.

My Exact Score Prediction: Seattle Seahawks 27, Denver Broncos 20
I'm backing Seattle to win by exactly a touchdown, 27-20. Seattle's That covers the 3-point spread and clears the 40.5 total, in a game I expect to run higher-scoring than a typical short week produces. Denver has issues on both sides of the ball and while still a solid team, the reigning Super Bowl champions are the better one, which is why my call is for the Seahawks to win and cover this Thursday night in Mile HIgh City.
