Thiago Silva is the headliner for this side but he missed the final two group games due to injury. However, he’s expected to be in the starting XI for Monday’s affair.

Fluminense are now riding a nine-match unbeaten run across all competitions. They also have a very impressive track record against Italian clubs, winning 10 of 14 meetings. This is a strong defensive club, but they didn’t show a lot of clinical abilities up top in the group stages, with the exception of matchday three. That being said, they have their work cut out for them against a team as brilliant as Inter, who were literally competing for the most prized trophy in club football only a month ago.
