The kick-off is scheduled for 12 PM ET. Paris, who of course just won their first UCL trophy in club history, smashed Lionel Messi and Inter Miami 4-0 in the Round of 16 last Sunday. Perhaps Bayern failed to make a deep run in the Champions League this past season, but the Bundesliga outfit return to superiority in the German top flight, snatching back the title from Bayer Leverkusen. The Bavarians finished 13 points clear at the top of the table, helping Harry Kane win his first-ever trophy after a long, successful individual career. As for the Club World Cup, Bayern was runners-up in Group C behind Benfica, compiling a 2-0-1 record.

Vincent Kompany’s group hammered Auckland City 10-0 in their first match of the event before another win over Boca Juniors. Benfica managed to beat Bayern on matchday three, but the Germans responded in the last 16. Kane led the way, scoring a brace in the victory. Despite PSG’s dominance this term, Bayern will be feeling a sense of confidence here given their impressive track record against the Ligue 1 giants.
