PSG vs Real Madrid Odds

PSG is sitting at +130 odds here, while Madrid returns at +195 at soccer betting sites. As you can see, there’s no clear favorite here.

These two clubs are quite familiar with each other, meeting eight times in the last 10 years, all in the Champions League. Los Blancos have four wins during that span, while Paris has two victories. Their most recent affair came in 2021-22, with the Spanish giants taking out PSG in the UCL Round of 16.

 PSG vs Real Madrid Analysis

There was once a time when PSG had Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi all in their squad. Yet, they still couldn’t go all the way in Europe’s most prized competition. The three have all departed, and the Ligue 1 outfit finally reached the Promised Land in the UCL this past season under Luis Enrique, smashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final en route to their first-ever European trophy. Paris also finished atop the French table and won the Coupe de France. They have the opportunity to win a fourth piece of hardware before the campaign officially finishes.

Enrique’s group has looked solid in the Club World Cup. A shock defeat to Botafogo in the group stages was far from ideal, but they were impressive outside of that loss, dominating Atletico Madrid, Seattle, Inter Miami, and Bayern in the Round of 16. While the goals came late, Dembele and Doue both produced the goods against the Bundesliga champions, helping send their side through to a tantalizing semifinal with a bitter European rival.

Los Blancos surprisingly won no trophies in 2024-25, which is frankly unheard of for a club of this stature. But the Xabi Alonso era could start with a bang if they can grab two more victories at the Club World Cup. His first match in charge was a 1-1 draw with Al-Hilal in the group stages, but Madrid cleaned up their act after that, beating Pachuca and RB Salzburg, ultimately finishing at the top of their group. That was without Kylian Mbappe, who was dealing with a stomach illness.

However, Mbappe returned for the quarterfinals against Dortmund and sealed the deal late in the second half with a mouthwatering bicycle kick. The real stars of the show for Los Blancos were Fran and Gonzalo Garcia, though. The latter scored his fourth goal of the tournament and continues to prove he deserves a regular place in this Madrid starting XI. The LaLiga standouts will face their most difficult test yet in the last four, but their track record versus PSG will undoubtedly have them feeling a sense of confidence.

PSG vs Real Madrid Picks

This is going to be a thrilling encounter at MetLife Stadium. While Madrid has so much quality, it’s hard for me to bet against PSG right now. They’re arguably the most confident side on the globe and have looked the part of a world-class club in this event. I’ll take the French outfit to beat Los Blancos.
