Florida vs Georgia Odds

Georgia are commanding favorites at football betting sites, laying 12.5 points against Florida. The Gators are priced at +330 to pull off the upset, while the O/U sits at 55.5 points.

The Bulldogs have dominated this rivalry lately, winning five consecutive meetings. Georgia edged Florida 24-20 last season and lead the all-time series 58-44-2.

Florida vs Georgia Analysis

Georgia have been one of the nation's most impressive teams this season, winning their first six games before suffering a surprising setback against Auburn. Kirby Smart's squad sits at 6-1 overall and 4-1 in SEC play, with their offense averaging a conference-best 43 points per contest.

However, the Bulldogs were stunned by Auburn on October 17, blowing an early 14-0 lead before falling 27-24 on a last-second field goal. Georgia actually outgained the Tigers 440-366, but three costly turnovers proved costly. Quarterback Gunner Stockton completed 22 of 34 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns, although he also threw two interceptions and lost a crucial fourth-quarter fumble.

Despite that disappointing performance, Georgia remains a legitimate national championship contender. Their defense has been outstanding, allowing just 15.9 points and 276.4 total yards per game. The Bulldogs have also been particularly difficult to run against, surrendering only 91.4 rushing yards per contest.

Florida have experienced an up-and-down campaign under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall, but the Gators are certainly capable of competing with the nation's elite. They've already beaten Ole Miss and Auburn, and their latest victory over Texas was arguably their most impressive victory yet.

The Gators entered Austin as underdogs and fell behind by 14 points before storming back to secure a 27-24 victory. Freshman quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. made his first career start, completing 22 of 35 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns. His performance was especially encouraging, given that regular starter Aaron Philo was sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Florida's offense has been productive, averaging 39.6 points and nearly 451 yards per game. Running back Jadan Baugh has been a major contributor, rushing for 763 yards and 13 touchdowns. His ability to establish the ground game will be crucial against Georgia's dominant defensive front.

Florida vs Georgia Picks

Georgia will be eager to respond after that embarrassing loss to Auburn, and the Bulldogs have a clear defensive advantage in this matchup. However, Florida has already proven they can compete with top-ranked opponents, and their offense has enough firepower to keep things interesting.

Gators are averaging nearly 40 points per game, while Georgia boast the SEC's highest-scoring offense. Although Smart's defense has been excellent, Florida should be able to put some points on the board. I’ll back the Over in Atlanta.
