Knicks vs. Pacers “Series Result” Futures Betting Markets
These teams were bitter rivals throughout the 1990s, and now they renew that rivalry with a pair of exciting young teams. The Pacers play at a breakneck pace, so the question will be whether the Knicks can keep up with them or force them to play in the half court.
The Knicks were top in fewest points allowed off turnovers, fewest fastbreak points allowed, and fewest second-chance points allowed in the NBA during the regular season. We believe they will cool the Pacers off, and we think the trio of OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges have the athleticism and size to really frustrate Tyrese Haliburton.
The Knicks have been in two wars so far this postseason, while the Pacers have kind of cruised to this point. New York also won’t be as rusty to start this one, so we like the Knicks to win what should be a fun series, but one that falls short of seven games.
Best Bet: New York Knicks -1.5 Games Spread (+125)
Knicks vs. Pacers “Series Correct Score” Futures Betting Market
This is our favorite of the series futures NBA betting sites are offering, because no matter what you choose, you’re getting immense value. We like the Knicks to win, but there’s no way they sweep, so that one’s out. A five-game series also seems a bit quick, and a little too easy for New York, who like to make it tough on themselves.
We’re not sure that Indiana can push this to seven games either, however, which leaves us with the Knicks to win 4-2. That one just so happens to be offering +450 odds, a tick better than if we went with the Knicks 4-1 or 4-3.
Best Bet: New York Knicks to Win Series 4-2 (+450)
Knicks vs. Pacers “Most X In Series” Futures Betting Market
Player | Most Points | Most Assists | Most Rebounds | Most Steals | Most Threes Made |
Jalen Brunson (NYK) | -600 | +190 | +30,000 | +3,300 | +275 |
Karl-Anthony Towns (NYK) | +550 | +15,000 | -650 | +2,000 | +1,600 |
Pascal Siakam (IND) | +1,600 | +5,000 | +2,500 | +900 | +2,800 |
Tyrese Haliburton (IND) | +1,600 | -200 | +15,000 | +600 | +250 |
OG Anunoby (NYK) | +3,000 | +7,000 | +5,000 | +400 | +350 |
Mikal Bridges (NYK) | +3,300 | +4,000 | +20,000 | +400 | +450 |
Myles Turner (IND) | +4,000 | +25,000 | +3,300 | +3,300 | +750 |
Andrew Nembhard (IND) | +6,000 | +1,600 | +25,000 | +450 | +4,000 |
We don’t usually suggest bets that have odds of -200 or shorter, but Tyrese Haliburton is such a lock to lead this series in assists that we’re going to make an exception here. He is averaging 9.3 assists a game in these playoffs, 1.6 more than the next closest guy playing in this series (Jalen Brunson).
There are only three guys in this series averaging over 1.0 steals, and we’re going to hedge our bets a little here by betting on two of them: Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby. Bridges is on 1.9 a game and Anunoby is on 1.8 during these playoffs. Anunoby led their first round series in steals, and Bridges led in the second. We think one will repeat in Round 3.
Jalen Brunson is a shoo-in to score the most points, but we also think he’s offering pretty good value to lead in threes at +275. Haliburton is the favorite at +250, but Brunson has been putting in 2.8 a game, while Haliburton is going for just 2.2.
