Barcelona vs Real Madrid Odds

Barcelona is a -110 home favorite for El Clásico, while Real Madrid returns as a +230 underdog at soccer betting sites.

Barca beat Los Blancos in the Copa del Rey final a few weeks ago, and it was an absolute thriller. In fact, the La Liga leaders have beaten Real in all three meetings this term.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Analysis

While Hansi Flick’s side just crashed out of the Champions League semifinals against Inter Milan in heartbreaking fashion, it has been a very impressive campaign for this club, regardless. Barca is four points clear at the top of the La Liga table and, as previously mentioned, just won the Spanish Cup, also known as the Copa del Rey. The Catalans have absolutely dominated in the final third, bagging a mind-boggling 91 goals in just 34 games. They’ve also conceded only 33.

Barca may have lost the second leg to Inter earlier in the week, but they’re flying in league action. In fact, Flick’s men haven’t tasted defeat in Spain since December 21 against Atletico Madrid. Barcelona have won four La Liga games in a row and collected another three points last weekend with a 2-1 victory against Valladolid. Raphinha and Fermin Lopez produced the goods in front of goal. It appears Robert Lewandowski is now healthy again as well after playing 30 minutes against Inter. He’s been a killer up top, bagging 25 goals to lead the line.

Madrid suffered an early exit in the Champions League against Arsenal, and they could very well be without a trophy in Spain as well. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad has been playing catch-up all season long, and as you can see by the results, they’ve yet to beat their rivals. That being said, a victory on Sunday would do wonders for their title hopes, putting just a point in between them and Barca if a win becomes a reality.

Los Blancos have a 23-6-5 record this season and have collected four consecutive victories in league play. The reigning champions nearly blew a 3-0 lead against Celta Vigo last weekend after goals from Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Arda Guler. Madrid proceeded to concede twice in the second period, but they held on for a crucial three points. Ancelotti’s group must be a mile better on Sunday, or else their title hopes may be put to bed with a defeat.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Injury News

Barca is still dealing with several injuries. Marc Bernal, Jules Kounde, Pablo Torre, and Marc Casado remain out. However, Alejandro Balde is expected to be back in the starting XI after returning to training this week. As for Madrid, they’re missing a plethora of key players such as Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga, among others. Rodrygo will likely play in El Clásico after recovering from an illness.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Picks

This historic fixture rarely ends level, so I am going to pick an outright winner. Barca is in good form, and they will be motivated for a huge victory after heartbreak in Milan. Plus, they’re on home soil, and that should definitely play in their favor. I’ll take the hosts to secure three points on Sunday.
