Mallorca vs FC Barcelona Odds

The reigning champions head into the season opener as a -200 favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. That’s an implied win probability of 66.67%. Mallorca returns at +500 odds. A draw is priced at +340.

Barca hasn’t lost to Mallorca since 2009. They completed the double last term, securing 1-0 and 5-1 victories.

Mallorca vs FC Barcelona Analysis

Mallorca had a respectable campaign in 2024-25, finishing with a 13-9-16 record. Scoring goals was a major issue, netting just 35 times in 38 games. However, their backline was solid, conceding only 44 goals. That’s a big reason they managed to secure 10th place at the end of the season. Vedat Muriqi and Canadian international Cyle Larin are the key figures up front, with both players leading the way last term with seven goals apiece.

Antonio Jose Raillo Arenas and Martin Valjent meanwhile are the key cogs defensively who will be tasked with slowing down an electrifying Barca attack consisting of players such as Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha, among others. Mallorca has conceded 16 goals in their last eight meetings with the Catalan outfit.

Barcelona had a very impressive ‘24-25 season, taking back the LaLiga crown from rivals Real Madrid while also winning the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup under the guidance of Hansi Flick. Blaugrana was near flawless domestically, posting a 28-4-6 record, which included a whopping 102 goals. They also conceded just 39 times. Lewandowski continued to be a goal-scoring machine, netting 27 in league action, while Raphinha scored 17. Yamal, who is seemingly getting better by the year, scored nine and assisted 13.

When it comes to the summer transfer window, Marcus Rashford was the most notable name to arrive at Camp Nou. The Englishman joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United, with an option to buy. Once one of the most exciting young players in England, a fresh start could be beneficial for Rashford. He also gives Flick more depth in the attack. Realistically, Madrid is Barca’s only real threat at winning LaLiga again and they’ll definitely be motivated after failing to win a trophy last season.

Mallorca vs FC Barcelona Betting Picks

Mallorca struggles to score and they didn’t exactly do anything to improve that problem this summer. Barcelona has kept a clean sheet in two of the last three meetings with them as well. I’ll take the visitors to secure a comfortable victory while keeping Mallorca out of their own net.
