The Los Angeles Rams were just two plays going the other way against their division rivals (the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks) from being Super Bowl champs last year. And there’s no debating that between them and the Seahawks, they were the much more exciting, high-flying group.

And that’s expected to continue in 2026. The Rams are a popular pick to avenge their NFC Championship loss last season, and many think with the  addition of Myles Garrett they could try and sweep the major awards at NFL Honors next year as well. Check out the NFL betting odds on a few fun Rams season specials as well as our breakdown of each futures betting market!

Highlights

  • Matthew Stafford won the NFL MVP in 2025
  • Only 2 players (Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning) have won back-to-back MVPs since 1997
  • Only 2 players (Aaron Donald, J.J. Watt) have won back-to-back DPOYs since 1983

Matthew Stafford to Win MVP & Myles Garrett to Win DPOY+3,500
Matthew Stafford to Win MVP & Puka Nacua to Win OPOY+7,000
Puka Nacua to Win OPOY & Myles Garrett to Win DPOY+5,500

Matthew Stafford to Win MVP & Myles Garrett to Win DPOY (+3,500)

Matthew Stafford won his first MVP in his 17th season two days before his 38th birthday. But most believe that wasn’t his swan song, but a preview of more things to come during the final years of his 30s. Stafford’s body, and especially his back, had seemingly started to betray him over the previous few seasons, but he didn’t miss a game in leading the Rams to the NFC Championship last year.

Myles Garrett, meanwhile, had the season of his life (and perhaps any NFL defender’s life) in breaking the single-season sack record with 23.5 QB takedowns and winning Defensive Player of the Year. He then got his move to a contender, which is something he has surely always wanted despite his love for Cleveland.

So, will both players repeat their shocking feats from 2025? While one could certainly do so, it seems very unlikely that both of these players will both win their awards in back-to-back seasons. The MVP has only been won back-to-back by two players since 1997: Peyton Manning in 2003-04 and 2008-09, and Aaron Rodgers in 2020-21.

It’s even more rare with the DPOY: Only Aaron Donald in 2017-18 and J.J. Watt in 2014-15 have done it since 1983. Considering that history, +3,500 odds don’t even feel like value here.

Matthew Stafford to Win MVP & Puka Nacua to Win OPOY (+7,000)

Matthew Stafford could very well win another MVP in 2026, but will he do it the same year his top receiver wins Offensive Player of the Year? That has never happened in NFL history. The only time a team has brought home the MVP and OPOY in the same year (when the same player didn’t win both) was in 1999 and 2001 when Kurt Warner won MVP and running back Marshall Faulk won OPOY.

Puka Nacua is a great player, but he’s no Marshall Faulk. He’s also had a whirlwind of an offseason that doesn’t exactly suggest he’s in line for a career year here in 2026, even if his 2025 numbers (league-leading 129 receptions, 1,715 yards, 10 TDs) were excellent. He finished third last year in OPOY voting with numbers like that.

But despite everything we just said, with this combo offering massive +7,000 odds, it might not be a terrible dart throw: at time of writing, Stafford is t-fourth on the MVP odds board with +900 odds, and Nacua is fourth on the OPOY list with +1,300 odds. They’ll both be in the mix.

Puka Nacua to Win OPOY & Myles Garrett to Win DPOY (+5,500)

With Myles Garrett offering just +400 odds as the favourite to win his second straight DPOY and third of his career, Puka Nacua is offering by far the best value of any of these three. We would suggest either taking the +7,000 above, or betting on Nacua solo to win OPOY if you’re feeling confident about the First-Team All-Pro wideout.
