Myles Garrett Season Specials Betting Odds & Predictions: Can He Hit 20 Again?

Public Domain
Myles Garrett was stuck in the doldrums of the NFL with the Browns in Cleveland for quite some time. Nine years to be exact. He even asked to leave before promptly signing a record-breaking deal.
But apparently Jared Verse, a 2027 first round draft pick, a 2028 second-rounder, and a 2029 third-rounder were a sweet enough deal for the Browns to bite and finally move their superstar defender just a year after re-signing him.
Now he lands in Los Angeles, La-La Land, the City of Celebs. And with that will come added media scrutiny and attention on Garrett. And, apparently, it also means more attention from sports betting sites.
Many are offering a litany of Myles Garrett-themed season specials, which can usually be found in your preferred sportsbook’s futures betting section. We grabbed a handful and broke them down to see if there’s any value in a Myles Garrett season special futures bet right now about a month out from training camps opening up. Read on for the latest odds as well as our analysis and predictions.

Garrett to Record 20+ Sacks (+135)
This is the one with the lowest odds on our board, but we’re not really sure why. Garrett might have gone nuclear last year with 23.0 sacks to set a new NFL record, but he’d never had more than 16.0 in a single campaign before that. He’s playing on a better team now, sure. But that could also mean that he’s not asked to do as much as he did in carrying the Browns defense. 20+ sacks has only happened 14 times before, and just thrice since 2018. There’s not enough juice to warrant the squeeze here.
Garrett to Record Over 20.5 Sacks - Rams Team Record (+190)
We’re adding one sack and a little bit of value on the odds for Garrett to break the record of 20.5 set in 2018 by Aaron Donald, who might just be joining Garrett on that Rams defensive line, which could be seen as both a pro and a con for Garrett. We don’t love him to get 20 though, and this isn’t enough added value to love him at 21 sacks.
Garrett to Record Over 23.0 Sacks - New NFL Single-Season Record (+440)
Only one of the 14 guys who put up a 20+ sack season had more than 13.5 sacks in the next campaign, with most in the 7.5-12.5 range. Garrett’s going to have a great season, but 20 sacks just doesn’t happen very often. And never by the same guy in back-to-back seasons. Unless you’re Deacon Jones, of course.
Garrett to Record 5+ Sacks In A Regular Season Game (+800)
This is the one we’ve got our eye on. Garrett has only had 5+ sacks once in his career, doing so last year to spur on his record-breaking season total. But he also had 4.0 and 3.0-sack games last year. And he had a couple of 3.0-sackers in 2024 as well. When Garrett gets a bad matchup, he can really exploit it to the maximum, and even if he doesn’t get the huge season numbers, he will have at least one insane superstar game. The massive +800 odds don’t hurt either.
Garrett to Record 20+ Sacks & Rams Win Super Bowl (+1,300)
Despite what most bookies might think, we actually think the Rams winning the Super Bowl is more likely than Garrett going for 20 sacks again. With the massive added value here at +1,300, this would be a much more reasonable proposition that is worth considering if you like L.A. to go all the way.
Garrett to Record 0.5+ In Every Regular Season Game Played - Min. 14 Games (+5,500)
This one seems relatively reasonable at a glance. But upon closer viewing, these +5,500 long shot odds make a lot more sense. No player since 1960 has gone a full season with at least 0.5 sacks in every game. No one has even gone 12 or 10 for that matter. The best streak is Jared Allen’s nine 2011, and only four other guys have gone for 8. Leave this one out.
