Mbappe sits at steep -176 odds to win the Pichichi at soccer betting sites. Lamine Yamal, who is heading into the season looking to prove full fitness for Barcelona, has +896 odds. Mikel Oyarzabal (+1195), Raphinha (+1195), and Vinicius Junior (+1594) round out the next tier of contenders.

Kylian Mbappe

Mbappe has now won the LaLiga Pichichi in each of his two seasons since arriving at Real Madrid, finishing last term with 25 goals in 31 appearances. He remains the focal point of Los Blancos' attack, and the arrival of teenage winger Yan Diomande on the opposite flank should only open up more space for the Frenchman to operate. Mbappe has proven himself one of the most ruthless finishers in world football, and it is hard to picture him not competing for a third straight Golden Boot in 2026-27.

Lamine Yamal

Yamal's 2025-26 campaign was derailed by a hamstring injury that ended his season early and cost him a real shot at the Pichichi race. If he returns to full health, the Barcelona winger should once again be a focal point of Hansi Flick's attack. Yamal has already shown he can produce goals and chances at an elite level, and with a clean bill of health he has the talent to push Mbappe throughout the course of the campaign.

Mikel Oyarzabal

Oyarzabal captained Real Sociedad to Copa del Rey glory last season while also topping the club's scoring charts with 15 LaLiga goals, his best league tally in years. The Spain international is a reliable source of goals both from open play and the penalty spot, and with Real Sociedad building around him again, he has a real chance to push into the top three of the scoring charts. His form was fantastic at the World Cup as well, proving his worth with Spain.

Raphinha

Raphinha was a driving force in Barcelona's title-winning campaign before a hamstring injury slowed him down late in the season. The Brazilian still finished with 13 LaLiga goals and was directly involved in 16 goals across his 22 appearances, an elite rate when healthy. If he can stay fit for a full campaign, Raphinha has the profile to be right in the thick of the Pichichi race. He’s always a dangerous player in front of goal.

Vinicius Junior

Vinicius put together another strong season for Real Madrid, finishing with 16 LaLiga goals and five assists. With Mbappe drawing so much defensive attention centrally, Vinicius continues to find space out wide to attack defenders one-on-one. He remains one of the most explosive attackers in the league, even if matching Mbappe's output over a full season is a tall order.

2026-27 LaLiga Golden Boot Picks

Ante Budimir, Julian Alvarez, Georges Mikautadze, Borja Iglesias, and Yan Diomande are also intriguing names further down the board, with Diomande in particular arriving at Real Madrid off a breakout Bundesliga rookie campaign. Still, Mbappe remains the clear pick. Real Madrid's attack continues to run through the Frenchman, and he will win another Pichichi Trophy.
