New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 4: NBA Game Picks & Betting Odds

Going into this New York Knicks-Philadelphia 76ers series, many expected the old rivals to have a slobberknocker that would go at least six or seven games. That has not been the case, with the Knicks dominating so far to put together a seemingly unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.
Joel Embiid did miss Game 2, but he was back for 35 minutes in Game 3, so he should be good to go for Game 4 here. On the other side, OG Anunoby missed Game 3 with a hamstring strain and remains day-to-day as of this writing, though his absence didn’t stop New York from winning by double-digits again on Friday.
Philly will be desperate in this one, and that’s a big reason why betting sites are putting this one down as a pick ‘em, with New York coming in as a mere one-point favorite on the spread. Read on for our predictions and best bets as well as betting odds for Game 4 in Philadelphia!
Highlights
- The Knicks come into Game 4 looking for their first sweep since 1999
- Philadelphia has only been swept once since 1999
- OG Anunoby (hamstring) remains questionable for Game 4 after missing Game 3

Knicks vs. 76ers Game 4 - Point Spread/Moneyline Prediction
The Knicks have dominated the series in the sense that they have won all three games. But apart from Game 1, the games have been relatively tight. Neither team went up by double-digits in an insanely close Game 2, and in Game 3 the Sixers fought back two or three times from double-digit deficits, only for the Knicks to have an answer at every corner.
But with OG Anunoby still iffy and Joel Embiid back in the lineup, the 76ers have a chance to save some pride here in Game 4. They are at home after all, and they will be playing with a level of desperation that will be hard for the Knicks to match, especially considering New York can just take care of business at the Garden in Game 5 if worse comes to worst. Philly has been swept once in the playoffs this millennium, and the last time New York swept anyone was 1999.
Best Bet: Philadelphia 76ers Moneyline (-105)
Knicks vs. 76ers Game 4 - Over/Under Prediction
If the 76ers really are going to win Game 4 and stay alive in this series, they’re going to need to score. Generally, when they’ve won, they’ve scored about 110 points in recent weeks. If they do that and they don’t blow the Knicks out, that should put us right in the ballpark of this 213-point total.
An encouraging trend for over bettors is that when New York is favored by a small amount—say, five points or less—the games have generally been high-scoring: the over is 7-4 in such Knicks games over the last couple of months. As always, we’ll buy a couple of points down so we don’t fall victim to those expert oddsmakers.
Best Bet: Game Total Points Over 210.0 (-150)
