NFL Futures Betting Odds & Predictions: Will We Get A First Time Super Bowl Winner in 2026?

Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal
NFL training camps are just a few short weeks away, and that means the 2026 NFL season won’t be far behind. In fact, we’re almost exactly one month away from the start of actual football being played with the Hall of Fame Game kicking off preseason on August 6. And that means it’s time to look at some futures.
One of our favourites every year is the futures betting market that answers one simple question: will the NFL see a team win its first Super Bowl title in franchise history this year? It’s a great question every season, and more often than not, the answer is no.
We have seen seven teams win their first Lombardi Trophy since 1999, though we haven’t seen anyone join the 20 Super Bowl-winning franchises since the Eagles won their first Super Bowl back in 2017.
So, will we add a new franchise to the pantheon of Super Bowl champions, or will it be a repeat winner for the ninth straight year? Read on for the latest NFL betting odds on this unique futures prop as well as our betting breakdown!
Highlights
- 12 of the 32 teams in the NFL have never won the Super Bowl
- Top franchises who have never won: Bills, Bengals, Lions, Charges, Vikings
- Top franchises who have won: Eagles, Rams, Ravens, Seahawks, Chiefs, Patriots, 49ers
NFL Futures Betting Odds & Predictions: Will We Get A First Time Super Bowl Winner in 2026?
All betting odds provided by Betway.
Yes (+235) - Includes ARI, ATL, BUF, CAR, CIN, CLE, DET, HOU, JAX, LAC, MIN, & TEN
Looking at the group of 12 teams that has never won before, we can pretty much rule out most of them. The ones that have a realistic shot are the Bills, Bengals, and Lions, and then maybe the Texans, Chargers, and Vikings if things really swing their way this season.
Buffalo has been carrying the “Yes” side of this future for about six years now, ever since Josh Allen joined the fray. The Bengals have come close too, losing the Super Bowl in 2021. The Lions are also an interesting option this season, as they bring back most of their uber-talented core and are likely to see an improvement in coaching considering how bad that was last season.
Those three put together give you a really solid shot to win here, and at +235, you’ve got a little bit of juice to play with. This one all depends on which team you like to win the Super Bowl because at the end of the day, only one team can win. Buffalo and the Lions seem especially frisky to us, so we’d take this as a fun future to follow throughout the season.
No (-320) - Includes BAL, CHI, DAL, DEN, GB, IND, KC, LV, LAR, MIA, NE, NO, NYG, NYJ, PHI, PIT, SF, SEA, TB, WAS
It’s not really worth betting on at -320 odds, but the “No” side of this futures betting market has almost twice as many teams on its side. But does it have as much quality? Well, yes.
We’ve got the Ravens, Broncos, Chiefs, Patriots, Eagles, and basically the entire NFC West on this side. That’s a pretty darn good group led by some pretty darn good quarterbacks. In fact, seven of the top 10 teams with the shortest odds to win Super Bowl LXI are franchises that already have at least one Super Bowl under their belt. So, do you believe in Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, or Jared Goff?
