Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) - 1PM

In most situations this season, we would probably take the points here with the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts. But after losing to the Broncos last week to drop to 5-5, the Kansas City Chiefs are beyond must-win territory at this point.

They absolutely need to win this one if they’re going to stay in the playoff hunt. Much less the race for the AFC West crown. Patrick Mahomes with his back against the wall still deserves a few points. And that’s what he’s getting here from betting sites. Pushing us over the edge is the fact that K.C. has won four straight games at home by double-digits.

Teaser Pick: Chiefs (+2.5)

New England Patriots (-6.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals - 1PM

The Patriots may be on the road here, but this spread is still surprisingly low considering how bad the Bengals looked last week in a 34-12 loss to the Steelers. Not only are they missing a lot of their top defensive playmakers (from the worst defense the NFL has seen in recent memory), but their best player, Ja’Marr Chase is going to be out due to a well-earned suspension for spitting.

The Patriots have won seven in a row, and they have pushed or covered the spread in six of those seven. Drake Maye has thrown for more passing yards and completed his passes at a higher percentage than any other QB in the league this year. He should be able to tear this Bengals defense up whether Joe Burrow makes his miraculous return or not.

Teaser Pick: Patriots (-0.5)

New York Giants @ Detroit Lions (-10.5) - 1PM

The Lions had a rough showing last week in prime time in Philly, losing 16-9 to the defending champions. But that’s good for us this week, because the Lions have responded in a big way the week after their first three losses of the season.

After a road loss to the Packers in Week 1, the Lions came back and beat the Bears 52-21 at home in Week 2. After a road loss to the Chiefs in prime time in Week 6, the Lions came back and beat up on the red hot Bucs in a 24-9 home win. After a Week 9 home loss to the Vikings, the Lions went on the road and stomped the Commanders 44-22.

31-, 15-, and 22-point wins for the Lions following losses this year. And getting the Giants at home is the perfect way for Detroit to get right once again.

Teaser Pick: Lions (-4.5)

Seattle Seahawks (-13.0) @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM

The 7-3 Seahawks, like the Lions we just discussed, have not lost back-to-back games this season, and it surely won’t be happening this week. Seattle heads to Tennessee to take on the 1-9 Titans. When the Seahawks win, they have won big, with their seven victories coming by an average of 15.7 points.

On the flip side, the Titans have dropped their nine defeats by an average of 14.6 points. They have covered the spread in the last two weeks after starting 2-6 ATS for the year. However, the only other time they were underdogs of 10+ points this season, they were 15-point dogs against the Colts in a game they lost 38-14. Seattle’s going to bounce back from a tough loss to L.A. by using the Titans as a punching bag.

Teaser Pick: Seahawks (-7.0)

Carolina Panthers @ San Francisco 49ers (-7.0) - MONDAY 8:15PM

The Panthers have been one of the best stories in the league this year, starting 6-5. However, Bryce Young is not used to the big NFL lights of MNF prime time. He’s only played two prime time games in the NFL. Both were three-point losses during his rookie year, so he hasn’t played a night game in two full years.

Brock Purdy, meanwhile, has returned to the fray for the 49ers, and he looked like he hadn’t missed a snap (in fact, he’d missed nearly two months of them) in a 41-22 divisional victory. Carolina’s won five of their last seven, including three straight on the road. But we think that trend gets bucked here on MNF as Mr. Irrelevant shows Mr. No. 1 overall how it's done under the lights.

Teaser Pick: 49ers (-1.0)
