New England Patriots (-6.5) @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM

This is a battle of narratives: will Mike Vrabel’s new team beat down his struggling old team? Or will the Titans get the new-coach bounce after firing Brian Callahan and elevating Mike McCoy to interim head coach.

We believe the Titans will get a bit of a bounce, but even without the added boost for Vrabel, this Patriots team is just a lot better in every facet from offense to defense to coaching. Drake Maye has been excellent, but with Tennessee’s bottom 10 run defense, even New England’s struggling run game should be able to find some breathing air.

Teaser Pick: Patriots (-0.5)

New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears (-4.5) - 1PM

The Saints have lost by 6+ four times this year and are 1-4 ATS as an underdog. So while they’ve seemed frisky, they have still been losing big. With New Orleans giving up multiple passing TDs in eight straight games and Chicago’s run game coming on last week behind D’Andre Swift, the Bears could have a big offensive day here.

Teaser Pick: Bears (+1.5)

Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns (-2.5) - 1PM

Nobody put Browns fans, Dolphins fans, and degenerate bettors like us will be tuning in to watch these two 1-5 teams throw slo-mo haymakers at each other. It’s like that video of the two clowns squaring up for a fight on a basketball court. And yet, we feel good about the Browns here as Miami continues to implode.

At least Cleveland’s got a defense they can hang their hat on. Miami is allowing the fourth-most points per game (29.0), the third-most yards per game (389.3), and the second-most yards per play (6.3). They’re especially bad against the run, allowing an NFL-worst 168.5 yards a game on the ground. Rookie Quinshon Judkins, arguably Cleveland’s best player this year, should have a field day with this one.

Teaser Pick: Browns (+3.5)

Las Vegas Raiders (+12.5) @ Kansas City Chiefs - 1PM

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a rousing 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions in prime time. But we think that impressive performance might have them—and the NFL betting sites setting this line—feeling a little bit too chuffed.

They’ve won twice at Arrowhead since 2020 and they should have won again last year if not for referee error. But still, the Raiders lost that game by just two points, and they lost the other matchup last year by just seven, both times covering a double-digit spread like this one. In 2022, they lost to the Chiefs by just one in K.C. If that’s not enough, consider this: since the start of 2024, Patrick Mahomes and company are 1-6 ATS in divisional games.

Teaser Pick: Raiders (+18.5)

New York Giants @ Denver Broncos (-7.0) - 4:05PM

The Giants are having a lot of fun on offense right now, but all of that’s going to stop when they have to go to the thin air of Mile High to take on the Broncos vaunted defense. They’re top two in total and scoring defense, and through six games, their 30 sacks are eight more than any other team.

Jaxson Dart is going to have to keep his head on a swivel with guys like Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper flying at him. Dart has already said that it’s keeping him up at night, which is a positive sign for Denver here. Another one is this: they are 6-0 ATS against NFC opponents since the start of 2024. Surely they should be able to win this one straight up.

Teaser Pick: Broncos (-1.0)

Green Bay Packers @ Arizona Cardinals (+6.5) - 4:25PM

The Packers are a 3-1-1 outfit that is first in their division but clearly inconsistent. They lost to the Browns straight up, they tied a Cowboys team with possibly the worst defense in football, and they allowed the Jake Browning-led Bengals to hang around for a lot longer than most Cheeseheads would have liked.

Arizona, meanwhile, is 2-4 and on a four-game losing streak. However, they’ve lost those games by 1, 2, 1, and 4 points apiece. They’ve been competitive every week, whether it’s Kyler Murray or Jacoby Brissett under center. They will be competitive again at home against the Packers.

Teaser Pick: Cardinals (+12.5)
