NFL Week 4 Early Sunday 1PM Betting Picks & Odds - September 28
All odds provided by Sports Interaction
The Panthers and Patriots are both teams that would have liked to have started a little better here. With that being said, it’s tough to tell how good either really is yet, so we’re going to bet on the total here. Neither of these teams has allowed or scored a ton of points, but the over has hit in five of six games against the NFC for the Patriots since the start of the 2024 campaign. For Carolina against the AFC, it’s four of six.
Best Bet: Alternative Game Total Over 40.5 Points (-162)
Cleveland Browns @ Detroit Lions - 1PM
The Browns got their big surprise upset last week against the Packers. That won’t happen in Detroit against Green Bay’s division rivals. The Lions have found their groove, especially offensively, and they have the blocking to put up points on Cleveland. Detroit is also 3-1 ATS when they are double-digit favorites since the start of the 2023 season.
Best Bet: Detroit Lions Alternate -6.5 Point Spread (-184)
Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Giants - 1PM
With Jaxson Dart making the first start of his career, we think this one could really get out of hand. The Chargers have a tough and well-drilled defense, and it’s going to give the Ole Miss product fits. We’re taking L.A. on the spread here and we don’t feel the need to buy any points either.
Best Bet: Los Angeles Chargers -6.5 Point Spread (-110)
New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills - 1PM
A couple of weeks ago, we dove in on a massive double-digit spread and were rewarded. We feel like we should do it again here. Even last week on TNF, we took the Bills by -9.5, and they won by 10. This Saints team is a mess, and with Buffalo at home here, this one should be done and dusted early. The Bills are 3-1 ATS as a double-digit favorite since 2024 as well.
Best Bet: Buffalo Bills Alternative -13.5 Point Spread (-148)
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 1PM
The Eagles seem to be having a little bit of an identity crisis with their unwillingness to throw the football. And with the Bucs fielding a top six run defense that has a lot of big bodies to clog up holes, we think Philly struggles offensively while Tampa continues to soar. The return of Chris Godwin is no small thing, and the Bucs have beaten the Birds by double digits in their last two meetings.
Best Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5 Point Spread (-110)
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans - 1PM
It’s all on the line here for the Houston Texans. If they lose this week, a season in which they were expected to win their division will be lost before the start of October. They won’t let this chance go by the wayside, especially not at home against a side as poorly coached as Tennessee.
Best Bet: Houston Texans -7.0 Point Spread (-110)
Washington Commanders @ Atlanta Falcons - 1PM
Jayden Daniels has been limited in practice this week, so there’s a chance he does play. But this line makes it seem certain that he won’t. Even with Marcus Mariota in there, we think a pick ‘em here is generous to a Falcons team that was shut out by the Panthers last week.
Best Bet: Washington Commanders Moneyline (-115)/Sports Interaction
