Jake Ferguson, TE, DAL - Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-110) @ CAR

Over the past four weeks, Puka Nacua’s 51 targets are almost 10 more than the next-best player in that category. But believe it or not, the two guys tied for second at 42 targets are: 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson.

Ferguson has recorded 36 receptions over the past four weeks. George Pickens still gets the big plays, but with CeeDee Lamb out, Ferguson is clearly the security blanket for Dak Prescott. In his last four games, he has taken nine receptions for 78 yards, 13 receptions for 82 yards, seven for 40, and seven for 49. He has topped this receiving yards prop in three of his last four games, and he’s seen at least seven targets in each of those.

To put a button on it: the Panthers are the worst team in the NFL when it comes to defending tight ends, allowing 80.2 receiving yards per game to the position. Last week we followed this trend with Miami TE Darren Waller and were rewarded with a cover on Waller’s first catch of the afternoon.

Hassan Haskins, RB, LAC - Over 37.5 Rushing Yards (-110) @ MIA

What are the odds that the week the Chargers are set to go up against the worst rushing defense in the league, they are without their top two running backs. Najee Harris is out for the year, and rookie Omarion Hampton has been put on IR, which means he’s out for at least a month. And now they have the Dolphins and their 32nd-ranked run defense (allowing over 174 rushing yards a game) to contend with.

The two guys likely to figure here are Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins. However, it’s clear that Haskins has the edge here, especially when it comes to early-down rushing work. Vidal is likely to handle third-down and passing game duties. And with the Fins giving up over 133 yards a game just to running backs, we feel like Haskins is going to have a big showing in just the second start of his career. Miami has allowed the last four starting RBs they have faced to hit the over on their rushing yards prop. With Haskins under 40, he should have no problem doing the same.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, LV - Over 75.5 Rushing Yards vs. TEN

The Raiders are seemingly in trouble here. They have some intriguing pieces, but Pete Carroll seems like he might be past it, and QB Geno Smith might be in the same boat. Phenom tight end Brock Bowers is also dealing with nagging injuries. Their one shining light? Ashton Jeanty.

He had a rough first couple of weeks, but he’s averaging over five yards a carry over the last three weeks. 63, 138, 67 were his rushing totals in those three games. This line is a little higher than the low end there, but we think that it’s still very intriguing and reasonable.

The Titans have allowed 122.6 yards a game to running backs, tied for 3rd-most, and with the Raiders at home, we envision them trying to use Jeanty and the running game to get control of this one. Last week, two Cardinals backs covered their numbers. Woody Marks had a career day the week before, Jonathan Taylor went for 100+ the week before that, and in Week 1, both J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey covered their rushing props against this defense.

Josh Jacobs, RB, GB - Over 79.5 Rushing Yards vs. CIN

Interestingly, the Bengals are tied for 8th in terms of rushing yards allowed per game (132.2), but they are third in rushing yards allowed to RBs per game (122.6). That means when they give up chunks of yards on the ground, it comes courtesy of the opposing running back. And Josh Jacobs is set to take advantage of that for the Packers in Week 6.

Coming off a bye week, Jacobs should be fresh and ready to slice through this swiss cheese defense. Jacobs has covered this number in two of the last three weeks. The Bengals gave up 50+ to two backs last week, 100+ and 50+ to two other backs the week before that, and 116 to Jordan Mason the week before that.
