NFL Week 7 Early Sunday 1PM Betting Picks & Odds - October 19
All odds provided by Sports Interaction.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Minnesota Vikings - 1PM
Brian Flores has the Vikings defense playing brilliantly. They are probably the most unpredictable unit on that side of the ball right now. But they do have one weakness, and we believe the Eagles are primed to take advantage of it: run defense.
They are allowing over 138 rushing yards per game this season, ninth-most. Minnesota was gashed in their last two games by the likes of Quinshon Judkins (110 rush yards) and Kenneth Gainwell (99), and let’s not forget Bijan Robinson’s 140+ yard effort against the Viks in Week 2. Saquon Barkley hasn’t had 70+ yards since Week 2, but we think this is the game where he breaks out.
Best Bet: Saquon Barkley To Rush For 70+ Yards (-150)
Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs - 1PM
The Raiders have been playing the Chiefs as tough as anyone over the last few seasons, despite the fact that they’ve been generally awful otherwise. They covered two double-digit spreads like this against K.C. last year, and they won at Arrowhead outright in two of the four seasons before that. After their big win over Detroit, betting apps are a little too bullish on the Chiefs here. And we think K.C. themselves might be too.
Best Bet: Las Vegas Raiders +12.5 Point Spread (-110)
New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears - 1PM
This could be a blowout for the Bears. The Saints have “stayed in games”, but they’re still 1-4 ATS as an underdog this season, and they’ve lost by six or more four times already. The Bears are riding a three-game winning streak, and their most recent conquest of the Commanders was impressive. The fact that they can now run the ball with D’Andre Swift pushed us over the edge on Chicago here.
Best Bet: Chicago Bears -4.5 Point Spread (-110)
Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns - 1PM
Playing the Miami Dolphins is a running back’s dream right now. They’re allowing an NFL-high 168.5 rushing yards per game as well as 5.6 yards per carry, which is third-most. Cleveland can’t throw the ball to save their life anyway, so it’s Quinshon Judkins time. The rookie had a streak of 80+ yard games from Week 3 to 5, culminating in a 110-yard performance against Minnesota two weeks ago. He could have another career day at home against the hapless Fins.
Best Bet: Quinshon Judkins To Rush For 90+ Yards (-138)
Carolina Panthers @ New York Jets - 1PM
We want to finally trust the Panthers as a favorite here, but they are 1-15 on the road under Bryce Young. Not good. But, we can’t take ourselves seriously betting on the Jets right now either. So: both of these teams have allowed 24+ points in five of six games. Both offenses have put up 20+ four times. And both are bottom 10 in points allowed. We’ll take the over here.
Best Bet: Game Total Over 41.5 Points (-110)
New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM
The Pats want a win for first-year HC Mike Vrabel over the franchise that fired him two years ago. The Titans want a win for their newly promoted interim coach Mike McCoy. Whichever narrative you like better, we’ll take the team with the better coaching staff, the better QB, the better defense, and the better record. Tennessee has lost 10 straight home games against the spread, if you needed further motivation.
Best Bet: New England Patriots -6.5 Point Spread (-110)
